I have been coming since March I found the site near where I lived. From the moment I walked in the stuff was friendly and helpful. I met doctor K and I explained the pain I have with the spinal stenosis and sciatic pain. He's goal is for me to exercise and move around. He adjusted my spine and lower back. He's always giving suggestions so I can manage my pain I'n addition I get a massage once in awhile and they have a wonderful staff to help your muscles feel better which helps the tightness of my back. He takes the time to get to know you and YOUR issues, even if it's similar to someone else he takes the time to figure out what works for you. He trains you on how to do exercises at home - he's rare, he doesn't want you to be a lifetime patient, he actually wants you to get better! I've been seeing my Chiropractor, Dr. Darren Konesheck, owner of Katy Wellness Center LLC, for a couple years. My back has numerous issues but every time I've seen him I walk out feeling better. He has a couple AMAZING massage therapists but my favorite is Julia who will find and workout any kink you have or didn't know you have The office staff is fantastic, they've always been on time with my appointments and they care about their clients. Dr. K hope this message gets your attention. I have been referred to you by one of my close friends, and he said you are the best chiropractor in Katy. I trust his words, and other reviews. Here is my experience with your office. I called your office to setup an appointment with you, and provided all details. I gave my insurance details (United Health) and was told that you are in-network. I was told that it will cost me $150 as assessment fee which is not covered by my insurance. I was also told that subsequent appointments will cost as per my co-pay plan. There was hesitation by your office to provide clear cut $$ numbers on the cost. I was asked to contact my insurance directly for further information. Following this I spoke to my insurance and they told me that your office is not in-network. This means I am responsible for out-of-network fees with you. I called back your office and explained this situation and there was silence on the other end. In-between my phone call the line was disconnected. I tried several times but could not reach 832-835-1171. It says the google subscriber you called is not available. Apparently, this is a google number. I hate to communicate to you in this manner, but, there seems to be no other way to communicate to a highly recommended doctor. I am sure you will have a word with your office manager: 1. Be honest and truthful with potential patients if you are in-network or not. 2. Do not disconnect phone connection in middle of conversation. If this has happened have the courtesy to call back. 3. Don't use google phone for business use. A real line always help. I am a former athlete and retired coach who has had degenerative disc disease since I was 19 years old. I received primitive, at best, treatment in the 70's that was so painful I stopped it. Over the past 40+ years I have been in excruciating pain. After exhausting all options, I went to Dr. Konesheck as a last resort before having neurological surgery. I have avoided a chiropractor for years, fearing it would add to the pain. On the first appointment he immediately took control of a plan, explained everything, and showed my wife how to assist me at home. I left with NO pain. What an amazing and beautiful office! My husband has been going to Dr. Koneschek for about a month and really wanted me to go. I have never been to a Chiropractic office so I no idea what to expect. As soon as I walked in Melody greeted me by name and took me by surprise because I have never meet her before. She checked me in and I only had to wait a few minutes before Dr. Koneschek came to the front to get me. He's an amazing doctor who took the time to talk to me about what my concerns were and explained to me what he would be doing and the goal of the visit. After meeting him and getting an adjustment I was then introduced to Celestina the masseuse. Hands down one of the best massages I have ever had. She worked on the areas that were needed the most and talked to me about what she was doing and why. I highly recommend this office and can't wait to see them again! read more

I was googling online for a chiropractor in my area to help aid some relief for my back. I chose Dr. Konesheck based off previous reviews. He was so nice and gentle. He listened to all my concerns. He explained and educated me on my back issue. He allowed me to talk and ask questions. He was not pushy and rushing me as some doctors do. He just has a real down to earth warm personality. I rarely feel comfortable with doctors but I had to post this to allow someone else hopefully the same opportunity to find a chiropractor that they are comfortable with.
