It just seems like the place is woefully understaffed at all times for the number of customers they service with their pharmacy. Doesn't matter if I come in after work on a Monday or late night on a Thursday or early on a Sunday morning...the line is always at least 3 deep (usually more). Things haven't been filled in a timely manner or I have to call because there is some sort of issue with getting it filled. And oh, the many many minutes of my life I have lost on hold with them. If my call gets answered in under 5, it's a small miracle. And it's been like this for the 2+ years I've been going to them to get prescriptions filled.

We were told that if you wanted to transfer a prescription that it would be very easy for him to help you with. All he needs to do is call the pharmacy and tell them that you are going to switch, or you can call yourself. They have Immunizations and free delivery on your prescriptions. They speak multiple languages such as English, Korean, Punjabi, Hindi, and Spanish. Wow, isn't that amazing. In addition, they sell some paper products, over the counter supplements, and hygiene products. The store was clean inside and out front.

When I got back there before I could check in on the kiosk, the PCA came out her room and asked my name and let me right in. That was quick and she told me sit back in the waiting room so I'm thinking okay here comes the wait. Nope! Before I could sit down Maggie called me in to complete my form. She explained EVERYTHING!! Like what she was gonna test for, how she was going to test, what tools she'd be using and even went over my results with me at the end. everything was quick and professional and she wore a mask! I guess I'm used to labcorp where they just do the screening and send me on my way. They don't explain nothing and I really don't usually care as long as the form gets done correctly. But I really appreciate the professionalism of the minute clinic staff, the cleanliness and how fast, yet detailed that I move thru my appointment. I've been thru a lot this past month and a half just dealing with doctors and making appointments for some of the top places in the city. I find them to be unprofessional at times and lack care so I really really didn't expect much for CVS. I was just grateful to have them take pride in my care and my wellbeing and their jobs as well. Think of the minute clinic like an urgent care center. They offer vaccines, tests, physicals, etc. I recommend making an appointment ahead of time if you can that way you can check and be seen quickly. There's also a tall gentleman who I usually see at the front stocking that's always speaks, always asks if I need assistance, and always offers to move whatever he's stocking so I can get to the shelves lol.
