The inside isn't huge, but luckily there was room for our party of six -- we were able to push a few tables together. Most of the other tables were taken, so I imagine it's even busier on weekends. I got the avocado toast with tofu scramble, and a couple people in our group got the avocado toast without it. We all got coffee, and some of us also got orange juice. The food was tasty and fresh, and although I found the portion size to be a bit small relative to the price, I would probably come back here to try other things on the menu.

The menu is small but there is no way you could easily get tired of it. We had the hummus falafel platter as a shared starter on both our visits. The fresh sprouts on top give it that amazing crunchy and fibrous texture. You have to try it. My only wish is for it to come with more than the two pieces of bread. For mains, I tried the watermelon steak, and wow, I had had nothing like it before. It was thick, juicy, and red! The accompanying sauces and spices were amazing. Why do people even eat real animals anymore?! The drink selection is sparse, but I enjoyed the hot ginger drink. They do have nice wines and beers. Water seems to be a paid option. He desserts are the signature menu item. I was told that the cheesecake is made fresh every day, although the flavors are kept a surprise. I was lucky to meet the inspiring founders of Cafe Gratitude in August at a raw food workshop and from what I know, they planned to come back soon, it's a workshop worth attending for all those interested in joining the Cafe Gratitude community. Back in August, Cafe Gratitude Munich was just in plan, now it's a very nice reality and it's one of the places where I could stay all day long, it's part of my favourite cosy homey places in Munich. I recommend it to everyone, whether you are vegetarian or you are not so much into veggies, just try a few raw food dishes and then you will realize that eating raw is much more tastier than expected when it's properly prepared like it is in Cafe Gratitude and it's giving a boost to your energy too! :) I've added already photos of the delicious healthy food that I've got there, more to come from my next visit there! :) And after you will visit Cafe Gratitude, don't forget to let us know here on Yelp "What are you grateful for?" ;))
