My ring had been smashed, a diamond was chipped and out of the setting and it was very badly bent. I had taken it to a jeweler in Nashville, IN who refused to even attempt to fix it. When I walked in to the store, I was greeted by Tom. After inspecting the ring he was very honest and took the time to explain to me why the repair would be difficult but told me they would give it a try. It only took them one week to completely repair my ring and have it looking brand new. I was also very happy at the reasonable cost of the repair. Hoosier Jewelry will be the only place I take any repairs from now on. It will also be the first place I shop for anything new. The staff are so kind and knowledgeable and their pieces are beautiful. I wish I had more than 5 stars to give!!!

So the person helping him said "let me go see what I have in back". I am not sure how many rings he brought out, but my fiancé saw "the one". He was able to make payments on the ring and they seized it for him. Now I have been wearing it for about a month and a half and felt it needed to be just a bit bigger. My fiancé called and asked if I could come in to have it resized. They told him absolutely and remembered who he was. He was very impressed that they remembered. They told him I should have it back by Friday. When I arrived and said who I was, they were like ah your fiancé just called. They took it back and had it size by a quarter size right then and there, no waiting. They also cleaned it for me!! I cannot wait to do more business here. Thank you!

I got engaged almost 9 years ago and had not had it looked at or checked over. after looking at my engagement ring the day I was in, Jeff spent a few weeks trying to find the best way to fix my engagement ring. Jeff searched high and low for a solution he knew that would work, not compromise the integrity of the diamonds, not change my setting too much, please me, etc. Jeff found a company out of New York that redesigned the top of my ring so that diamonds weren't loose, prongs weren't broken, and he could be sure it would work long term. Not only will you enjoy browsing the multiple rooms of original handmade items, but you can also sign up for classes, or even just watch a video and make something on your own! They have the supplies for a lot of art/craft projects and you simply let them know whether you want to try it then or sign up for something. And if you aren't artistic on your own, there is no pressure to sign up...just browse through the wide range of items. There are paintings, photos, soaps, candles, wood items, jewelry, ceramics, glass items, etc. All items were made by artists in the region and seem to be affordably priced (especially compared to many of the galleries I've been to.) What the shop is interested is in giving the customer an experience, not just selling you an item. They can't out "Amazon" Amazon. But they can provide you a creative experience that Amazon can't. If we had more time, I think my wife and I might have taken a shot at making something.
