It's a great place to really stretch your legs and admire a place that was a huge importance in the history of settlers travel west in the hopes of having the American dream of having something greater than what they left behind. No issues checking in or out. The layout of the Hotel is ok with accessible entrances nearer to your room and car to be used with the same key for your room. This is cool so you don't have to only use the front entrance constantly. The issues really only were with the morning time. Most places have a designated quiet time from 10pm to 8am. As far as I know that was the case here. This Quality Inn draws I suppose truckers which is fine but one of them had his truck idling right outside the window of my room which was very disturbing. It must've been about 5am and it idled on and on and on. I know this isn't really the fault of Quality Inn per se, but it may be a good idea for them to reinforce the rule of being quiet in and around the building. Take note of this Quality Inn and address that if you're reading this. The next disturbance definitely was on them though, the maintenance/housekeeping person was vacuuming the hallway at a little after 7am. I could hardly believe it. It was very loud and unnecessary. Unless there was a huge mess on the floor, I don't see any reason to be cleaning that early in the morning. I didn't raise any complaints about this but again if this happens to be read by Quality Inn, take note that it was a noisy stay. The breakfast offerings weren't the best, but they did have nice cranberry juices and the waffle maker. That was about it. Eggs had to be refilled and even then, they weren't great nor were they warm. Biscuits and gravy weren't warm. This was about 8am so there was still a whole hour left of breakfast time. Beyond this, Quality inn wasn't horrible, except for the instances of noise in the morning which really brought down the experience.

The mattresses are extremely old and completely worn out--no support left at all. The bedding is just as bad, with visible tears and a decades-old mattress. Allergy sufferers, stay far far away. Cleanliness is non-existent. I wiped down the nightstand top, desk top, door handles, light switches, and faucet with Lysol wipes--and the wipes came away yellow and black. Absolutely filthy. The floors clearly hadn't been vacuumed in a very long time, and to top it all off, the shower was full of pubic hair. This place is beyond unacceptable. Do yourself a favor and book elsewhere.

I told the Lady at the front Desk and she said "just pull up really hard on it"! Say what?!! I told her I wanted a different room which we received. The second room had a microwave that was unplugged from the wall and looked like it was dropped down a flight of stairs! surprisingly it did work, the reason it was unplugged is because it made a popping noise all night till I couldn't take it anymore and got up an unplugged it! we were supposed to get a king size bed room but they had given them all away even though I reserved the room in advance instead had to take a room with two small beds! I am here to tell you, my first interaction was a phone call to inquire about an overnight stay after a 12 hour drive. The guy on the line was so friendly I just knew this was the place to stay. Showed up to be greeted by LeAnna and her cute little fur baby. Hey, first of all, there is a Cowboy fan in their house so I knew it was a win/win. Very easy check-in experience, and guess what, I received a REAL key. Leanna knew we were passing through and a big fan of Chris LeDoux, so she gave us input on what to do. You know, this place may not have all of the bells and whistles of a modern day hotel, but let me tell you this. The shower has pressure, the towels are soft, and the whole experience made me feel like I went back home to my mommas house. The air conditioner works great, there is a refrigerator and microwave in the room as well. We are super excited about seeing the town in the morning as "Look at You Girl" was my husband's wedding song to me and I am here to tell you that we miss the days of seeing that man perform in a concert.
