The donut was airy and light but slightly crispy. You could easily devour 5 in one sitting if you're not careful! The chocolate twist was also light and well balanced between dough to chocolate ratio which sometimes can go too far one way. The jalapeño and cheese sausages had a nice almost pickled jalapeño taste which I quite enjoyed. The couple running the place were also incredibly kind and you can tell those donuts are made with TLC. Would explain how they sold out of donut holes by 10 am. Donut Palace should be your first stop if you're in Azle looking for donuts.
