Had been on my must-visit list for a while, so glad we stopped by! I'd seen many folks recommend 3-W's for good BBQ, but it is not exactly close to us. By chance we were close to Springtown around lunch time so I asked Maps to give me directions (good thing, since they're a bit off the beaten path). So glad we did! We ordered two of their lunch specials (one brisket, one pulled port) and ended up taking home half of each ... the portion size is awesome for a very good price. We'll definitely make the effort to return so we can try some of their other meats. read more

Usually love this place, like 10/10 amazing, but had a pretty bad experience this time. Paid $40 for 2 pulled pork sandwiches & 1 side each, poppers, and banana puddin. Requested onion on one sandwhich. Ended up getting the food, one sandwich barely containing any meat while the other was normal, no onions like I ordered, AND the bread was burnt. It was nearly inedible for me, but my husband was able to eat his. The potato salad, banana pudding, and jalapeño poppers were great. I'm very dissatisfied that we paid that much for that many mistakes. Probably won't go as much anymore. read more

First time here and we will definitely be back. I had the 2 meat plate with sliced Brisket and smoked Bologna with a side of Brisket Pintos. Brisket was tender, moist and a solid rub flavor. My wife had the Pulled Pork sandwich with a side of baked beans. The sandwich was stuffed full of pork. She loved it, saying it was moist, tender and flavorful. She loved it so much she wouldn't even share a bite with me. LOL she couldn't shut up about how much she loved the baked beans! She did let me taste them and I was in agreement. This is a trailer rig with outdoor picnic tables and a nice, clean, air conditioned dining hall right next door. According to the young man who served us, the 3-W's were himself and his mom and dad. Both he and his mom came into the dining hall to check with all the guest to see if they were happy with their meal. We just stumbled upon this place by accident and we are glad we did. We will surely become regulars. We highly recommend this place. If you are disappointed, it will be your own fault. read more

I absolutely love smoked meat, like for real, some people love pizza, some love Mexican, I love bbq. I'm on a mission to try as many Texas smokehouses as I can before I shuffle off this mortal coil. After seeing all of the positive reviews for this place I can only assume that we just happened to attend on a day when the new guy was given helm to the smoker. Between my wife and myself we tried pretty much every meat they offer. I really liked both the regular and jalapeño smoked sausages, no complaints! The brisket, both lean and moist were lacking flavor, like I seriously wonder if someone forgot the salt and pepper before putting them down for the long nap. There was a smoke ring otherwise I would have questioned if they were cooked in the crockpot. No smoke flavor at all. The fat was also still white and chewy, not rendered at all. The ribs were also lacking flavor, though they were cooked well. We also ordered one of their Gut Bombs, very tasty! As far as service, we were happy. It's basically a food truck though they do have an indoor and outdoor dining area. To be fair we don't frequent the Springtown area, so this may indeed be one of the best bbq spots around; but if that's true I grieve for these people. As we drove off I was a bit offended at how poorly these animals and their meat were handled. It doesn't have to be perfect, but it should taste seasoned. read more

So I stopped in here for the first time about a week or two ago because I love barbecue and they had brisket mac & cheese on the menu, which is my favorite the lady that took my order was so nice and explained the menu she rang me up for the brisket mac & cheese but forgot to charge me for the brisket so I made sure to let her know that the price seemed a little cheap and she thanked me for being honest which I guess I am a little naïve and thinking that everybody would do that because that's the right thing ‍ they're hard workers They deserve their money, I asked her for barbecue sauce to put in it, she said that she would give me a cup on the side so that I would have more room for the brisket in the mac & cheese and I've gotta say it was absolutely delicious. This place sells out frequently, and for good reason -- their meats and sides are moist and splendidly tasty, the service is excellent and friendly, the portions are substantial, and the prices are reasonable. They offer a 15% discount to veterans and first responders, too! We are hooked on their brisket sandwiches with potato salad on the side; the brisket is so tasty it really doesn't even need sauce, but both the regular and spicy BBQ sauces are wonderful. At least once a month, they will see my smiling face at the window of their trailer. Stopped by and tried their 3 meat plate of your choice, I got ribs, brisket and chicken along with their baked beans it was delicious. They also put a side of corn bread in there which was a nice touch. Serving size was huge I was able to share it between my boyfriend and I and still had left overs. read more

Wow. Just had 3 W's smoke shack for lunch off the 199 just outside of springtown and I gotta say....Best bbq I had in Texas yet! It's a cool little food trailer with an indoor restaurant and run by a family and I was only too happy to support our local folks...I had the pulled pork and it was well smoked and the bbq sauce was delicious.
