Absolute chaos. The entire process of them cutting my tree down was chaotic and far from OSHA…read moreapproved. When they arrived, they seemed like they knew what they were doing. The main guy cutting the tree stated he had gone to school for cutting trees, and unfortunately, I believed him. He quoted me a fair price, we agreed on the price, and then he started cutting smaller branches. The first day they brought no equipment and a small trailer, but I wasn't expecting them to really work that day, so it was fine. The following day, I assumed they would have brought plenty of equipment and a bigger trailer (to haul away the tree), but no, they came with two chainsaws and an even smaller trailer. This day was horrible and almost immediately I realized they had no idea what they were doing. After letting a branch fall and slam into my window, they decided to put plywood in front of the window, but not even covering the whole window, just the middle section. Another branch fell and slammed onto my driveway and all he could say was "Well good thing that didn't crack the concrete," and proceeded to laugh. He had absolutely no plan. He was just hoping nothing got too broken in the process. Another huge branch almost landed on my house and the one next to it almost took out my neighbor's fence and house. One of the last branches they cut down pulled down a communications line that was hanging over my sidewalk. The two workers not cutting the tree did apologize profusely, which I do appreciate, however the guy cutting the branch should have apologized. The following day they then proceeded to tell me that the branch hanging over the line was my fault and should have been taken care of previously. Like why do they think I called them? They are supposed to be the professionals who were able to correctly handle that situation. The main guy cutting the tree down was very unprofessional. He was yelling profanity and yelling at the other two workers the majority of the time. He never owned up to any mistakes nor did he apologize for anything at all. He was the one cutting the branches so you would assume he would apologize. They then realized that the dump was closed on that Friday, which I thought they already knew since it was a holiday. It didn't make that much of a difference; I was just tired of them being at my house. So, they said they would be back at 8:30am Saturday. It was getting close to noon, and I still hadn't heard from them. I messaged them around 11:18 and they didn't get back to me until 12:20. I asked if they had heard anything about getting the line on the ground put back up. They said they "have a guy" that would get it done by 5pm that day. Whoever's line it is must put it back up, so I had to call FPL and dealt with it myself because I didn't trust them. The third day they still brought their smallest trailer, even after claiming they have a much larger one, so it took them 3-4 trips to the dump. While the two workers filled the trailer, the main guy started trimming my hedges, which I never asked for, we briefly talked about it for if he were to mow my lawn in the future. I thought he was being nice to make up for pulling a line down or hitting my window, but no. They charged me for trim hedging and then didn't even pick up the branches in the backyard. He also cut off two branches on another tree I had and proceeded to charge me $60, again without first stating it would cost extra. So after all that, he hands me my bill and says "we bit off way more than we could chew with this job." We originally agreed on a price and the total he gave me was almost $200 over what we agreed on. Not only did he charge me for 2 things I didn't ask for, he charged me tax! Like are you kidding. Services do not get taxed. And even so, in Florida, sales tax is 6%, not the 7.5% that he charged me. This is the worst experience I could have asked for. Avoid hiring this "company" at all costs.

I interviewed…read moreMike 2 times before hiring him to paint my entire home (walls, trim and interior doors) and cabinetry. He interviewed as a very kind and knowledgeable professional. However once payment was made his tone turned to condescending and impatient. We were living out of state when he painted our home and I made the huge mistake of paying him before seeing the work with my own eyes. He had sent pictures that looked great. In actuality the work was very poor. Here's what I found - vertical roller lines on every wall from where they used the roller. They look AWFUL! -wall damages (dents, holes) were just painted over and not patched. --most of my cabinets had chipped paint or thin paint where you could still see the color underneath or missed areas from misplacing the painters tape. -paint splattered on walls -paint on most of my tile, counters I asked him to return to go over these concerns. He agreed that the walls looked streaky and uneven but then proceeded to blame the builder saying the wall finish was applied unevenly. Which is impossible because my walls looked perfectly smooth before he painted. I suggested that maybe a different painting technique would stop the lines, I had always heard you should paint in a V stroke to backroll over roller marks. He said that wouldn't help. But his painter obliged and repainted one wall in that technique and surprise, surprise the roller lines were gone. I asked him to return to repaint the remaining walls and he refused to fix his poor paint job and said I was difficult and unappeasable. He wanted to charge me additionally to repaint his poor work. He stated that his work was perfect even though earlier he acknowledged the walls were streaky. It's very disheartening that someone could have such low character to take someone's money and do a poor job. Mike cares nothing for his customer's satisfaction. His workers do not respect your home and will not clean up after themselves in your bathrooms and will not clean up spilled or sprayed paint on your floors, counters, etc. Your house will be a mess after they are done. I've since read similar complaints online, and I'm annoyed with myself that I did not do more research on him before hiring him.

To be completely honest, they made a mess, painting on a windy day and splattering all over the ground. I mentioned it, they brought in a pressure washer and attempted to clean up the splatters. It did a good enough job that I didn't really care, but if you have a really nice patio you'd want to know that. Now, up close. They didn't paint the soffits. The soffits are still a lovely shade of pink, compared to my nice grey house with white trim. Apparently, they don't paint soffits. That's extra to them. I absolutely count this as a lesson learned on my part. My other two estimates specifically listed walls, trim and soffits as being covered so I made a BAD assumption. I was swayed with their promises of sealers and caulking windows, didn't notice that trim and soffits were not called out in any way shape or form. I guess I should just consider myself lucky that the trim got painted at all!! The owner says this is their standard way of painting houses (apparently some people like accent colors?) so if you're considering using them for your house please be warned. Also, please don't attempt to go 21st century and coordinate a complete job via messaging with them and a written estimate, because then they will just blame the lack of an in person walk through. But, the owner is proud of his work and what he does, so kudos to him for a good job on 90% of my house.

I got some lower quotes to clean my carpets and area rugs ... one was $50 lower! But when I asked about Scotchguard... which was included with Stadler... the other company wanted an extra $89!!!!! Kevin came out to measure to ensure his quote was accurate. He was so impressive!!! Meanwhile, Tammy in his office was in touch with me constantly by text and phone. Having owned a customer service based business myself, I was blown away by them!!! Kevin and his son Justin did a great job. I can't tell you how impressed I was! I will have them back... not only to do my carpet/rugs... but to do my tile and power wash my house. I will tell everyone I know!
