The menu cycles, so be adventurous when you're visiting! I got eggs (over easy), home fries, and a slice of sourdough toast with a peach turnover and coffee. Everything made me want to savor the experience. The eggs were perfect and golden, the toast was probably the best sourdough I've had in my life, and that turnover... I really should have taken advantage of the free refills on my in-house coffee since it was that good, but I was happy to linger over what I started with. I also got some pastries to bring home and they were out of this world. The service: I felt right at home because of the stellar service. The two ladies explained to myself and my friend how the café works and their commitment to quality and environmentally friendly approaches. I even made a connection over family in a similar area out of state. I got the feeling I could have sat there for hours eating baked goods and chatting with folks. Next time: I have to go for lunch.
