We spoke to Ben (who all their phone numbers seem to go to, and I would hazard a guess is the B from NB) and arranged the appointment. WASTED DAY 1 We arranged for them to come to see us on Day 1. The time came and we waited... and waited... and waited. We then phoned them and, just like other reviews I have read, they pretended to have no idea about the commitment to be there. They said they were in the area and would still come over. They didn't show. No phone call or anything. We texted Ben, but got no response either. WASTED DAY 2 Believing that they must have had a good reason not to show we arranged to work from home a day during the week and spoke to Ben to arrange the next appointment. Needless to say the day came and they didn't show. Again we phoned and Ben acted like he had no idea of the appointment and asked us what time would be convenient for us. We then agreed a time later that day with Ben. That time came and went. I phone Ben an hour later and he lied by saying that someone would be with us imminently as they were on their way. No one came, with no phone call. WASTED DAY 3 Not sure why I let it get this far but I spoke to Ben again and he actually apologised this time and agreed to be with us himself personally the following day. It got past the agreed time and I phoned him, but of course he had no idea about his agreement to be with us. He again asked when would be good for us so I said a couple of hours later and asked him if he would definitely come this time. Obviously his word means nothing as he didn't show. I phoned him again after the missed appointment and when I introduced myself he hung up with a grunt. CONCULSION To be honest I was the fool to give them this many chances and for not reading reviews online first. I have never come across someone as unprofessional and rude as Ben. I simply cannot believe his attitude. The job must be worth at least £5k, so it's not a waste of their time, but apparently Ben considered it to be. There are numerous reviews about NB Contracts, not just on Yell, but elsewhere, and I am very glad that we actually never did get to meet them. It's worth having a good read through before deciding to give them a call. Note: I see NB Contracts have published a review for themselves here with a 5 star rating. Not sure that's allowed in Yelp's T&Cs.
