I 10/10 recommend taking photos with KC and Carolynn!! My family (a total of 12 people, including two small children) had a blast taking photos with them to celebrate my parents' milestone wedding anniversary on our recent vacation. They were very easy to communicate with and were very responsive (via text, email, and even Instagram message) from start to finish. Their rate was incredibly reasonable, especially for what we got. With us not being from Utah, it was helpful that they recommended a gorgeous spot and time to take pictures. The whole experience was wonderful. KC especially has a great sense of humor; he cracked jokes and poked fun the whole time, which made the session fun, even for the guys in our party who don't typically enjoy taking pictures. Both KC and Carolynn were very personable and took time to tell us stories and hear our goofiness. To boot, the pictures turned out absolutely gorgeous. And the price for the quality - can't beat it. We recently hosted a family reunion and I wanted some professional photos taken. KC Knoop is used by a friend for her annual family photo and I have always been impressed so asked for KC's contact information. He and his wife Carolynn were both wonderful to work with. We had a large group - 17 adults and 7 children ranging in age from 1-6. Needless to say potentially challenging! We were also taking the photos at mid-day, also a potential challenge! KC picked a perfect place in Pacific Grove for our photos. Carolynn had shared some color theme ideas (which we followed), and we had pre-arranged our groupings (very helpful!). We could not be more pleased with ALL of the pictures!! With the exception of one screaming granddaughter towards the end of our session , everything went off without a hitch and KC was delightful to all. KC was recommended by a co-worker after we were new to the area. We needed senior photos taken for our son and KC was great to suggest a beach spot that was just perfect in every way. He spent time getting to know our reserved senior, chatting with him until he was comfortable and his personality really shined through in the photos. He took several great shots that we were able to frame and my son now uses one of the shots as his LinkedIn profile pic. A few years later and it was time for our daughter's senior pics. He was great once again, chatting with her, snapping some candid pics, shots of her twirling in the street...photos that so genuinely captured her personality. We now have our family portraits scheduled for later this month and are confident these will turn out amazing, as well. My family visited the Monterey area for vacation in August. Because we were celebrating my parents' 46th wedding anniversary, I wanted to get professional family photos during our trip. I found KC on Yelp and really liked his photography style. The logistics process to confirm and finalize a location/time was quick and very smooth. We met at Asilomar Beach on a beautiful evening. KC did an awesome job of connecting with each of us and making us comfortable. This was so appreciated with my parents. In fact, we spent most of our session laughing and had so much fun! We received the final photos before we expected and were honestly blown away with the results. We had some family photos taken with KC which included our 4 and 2 year old daughters. Past experience has taught us to be ready for a lot of corralling, but it was really easy with KC! He started off the session taking 10-15 minutes to talk with the girls, get them comfortable, let them see his camera, etc... And it really helped! My younger daughter is very shy, and we expected her to be hiding behind our legs the whole time, but KC was able to get some really cute photos, or both girls. We thought it was a bit strange when KC recommended meeting to do the photos at 7pm, he knows what he's talking about! When we got the photos back, we ended up with some really amazing shots with everyone halo'ed with the sun setting behind us, just amazing. We will definitely be calling KC next time. read more

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I found KC on Yelp through a search for the best engagement photographers in the Monterey, CA area. Immediately fell in love with his style, and especially his landscape work. KC found us an incredible location on some cliffs overlooking the ocean for our engagement shoot (all of our friends have raved about how beautiful the setting was), and even used a drone to capture some amazing aerial pictures. I was especially impressed with how comfortable KC made my fiancé feel during the shoot--he hates having his picture taken but KC got some smiles out of him! Was also very appreciative of KC's flexibility with scheduling around military obligations. Turnaround time for photos was very quick (about a week). 110% would recommend--excellent experience and again, incredible photos!! read more

Highly recommended!! My wife and I initially found out about KC when a friend of ours showed us some dance pictures he had taken of her pre-teen - they were the most artistic gorgeous photos we had ever seen. Although we had already booked a photographer to take some maternity photos, we ended up cancelling and booking KC instead... AND WE ARE SO GLAD WE DID! KC was absolutely incredible to work with. He picked out a beautiful location in Carmel for us to take the photos. KC has an incredible eye for the "right" shot and he makes you feel comfortable and natural during the shoot! You will NOT be disappointed in his work, our photos are simply amazing and I couldn't have asked for a better photographer. He made sure to get every shot which would have probably been difficult for most since we included our two dogs in the shoot! He found unique ways to get their attention while also capturing some amazing photos of them being silly dogs. I would definitely recommend KC Knoop! When my daughter told me she was going to get married, and we discussed a date, I told her there were two things that would make me have her change the date. The first was if the church had a time slot open and the second was whether or not KC Knoop Photography was available. KC is so fun and makes everyone laugh and feel at ease. Great experience start to finish. Professional, flexible, and creative. We wanted family photos and have three teenagers with very different personalities. KC found the perfect location, managed to cajole smiles and smirks out of our kids and blended thier wants with our needs. He exceeded our expectations. We loved the original photos so much we booked him AGAIN two months later when the grandparents were visiting and he was able to capture a moment that is now a family favorite. Our wedding day would not have been complete without Casey! I found KC Knoop Photography just by chance googling best photographers in Carmel area. My Husband and I booked a last minute baby moon to the area and wanted to do a maternity photoshoot. We had a photo shoot with KC in Carmel. I had researched on yelp for photographers in the area as I was coming from Virginia. I am so glad I picked KC. We were celebrating my parents Golden Anniversary and 80th Birthday in CA, we had a total of 12 in our group. Casey and Carolynn were great and we all enjoyed our time with them.
