This place was awesome. Getting into my car after some tacos, We noticed this place intrigued by the name and look we had to see what it was about. It did not disappoint. I was able to throw ninja stars that are illegal in Cali. The axe throwing was cool. The price for this much fun was a steal. I felt refreshed after and calm! Good basic axe throwing place with a well-informed guy who clearly knows his stuff. This is a no-frills axe throwing spot, others we've been to had more food and drink options, but this is an affordable option for axe, knives, and other throwing tools if that's your focus. We brought our 11 and 12 year old and it's their 3rd or 4th time so they know the ropes. Maybe not the best option for first timers, but overall, a good spot in St. George if you're looking for indoor activities. read more

In a strip mall right off the highway, this little bit of fun was our stop for a birthday adventure. Two people around $30 for a half hour, and we had throwing stars & two types of axes. Didn't get the instructor's name but he went through the basics and let us be. He came back when an axe bounced all the way back towards us, and gave a tip then watched as we demo'd our understanding of the technique needed and walked away again. Doesn't seem like they enforce a strict guide to the time, but we had set a timer on our phones and left when the 30min was up, as being in St George there is few dinner options past 9 and that was our next stop. They do have a smash space but I'm not sure where as the space was pretty tight with the throwing booths. read more

Very disappointed. We had to be in St. George for one night coming from Las Vegas. As a family, we decided on coming here after looking up family options to do in St. George the night before. We purposely left early to accommodate my reservation placed for Axe throwing and Smash room package. We show up to the place, walked in with the employee staring at the computer screen with no greeting. I said, Hi, I have a reservation. When asked what I had a reservation for, she (Kaylee - not sure if this is her name since she hesitated to give it to me when I asked) stated the smash room has nothing to smash and that the owner left without stocking anything to smash. When asked why I was not called or notified that the smash room wasn't available, even with a reservation made, she only stated "I'm not the owner". Something else that was difficult is, I made the reservation and got an email confirmation. The email confirmation came in Central time zone, while St George is in Mountain time zone, and we're coming from Vegas who's in Pacific Time Zone. We had to sit there and figure out exactly what time we had to leave to get here in time. After all of that, only to show up to below standard customer service and not being able to do what we all wanted to do, we're stuck trying to find another plan. Escape room has no times available for tonight and Fiesta Family Fun Center is super crowded. read more

LOOVEEEEE this place and so do my kids! Great date night idea for most all ages. My little one (8.5) had a fantastic time and was able to handle the axe's just fine. Don, the owner, is always so helpful, kind and down to earth. I like that he doesn't hover but he's always around with a helpful tip and tricks to try! We had a great time. This was a birthday date. We paid for 30 mins. I had a hard time making the Axe hit the wall/stay on the target. They were slow and let me play for an extra 15 mins. I can't stress, what a fun amazing time this was. I can't wait to go again. Worth every penny. read more

This is such a fun date idea. My wife and I played a game of 21 and it was extremely fun. If you haven't ever tried axe throwing, I would highly recommend you do. Phat Axe has an awesome atmosphere and the owner is extremely nice and friendly. He showed me how to throw the different types of axes, knives, stars and even a metal throwing card. read more

Had a fun time here learning how to toss an axe and throwing stars. Don was kind enough to show me the basics and what an experienced thrower can do. I liked the open space and personal touch. Pricing was affordable, too! I'll definitely consider checking out this place again next time we're in the area. They take credit cards and have free parking in the outside lot. read more

Came here earlier today with my mom her husband and my husband and kids. It was pretty cool to throw hatchets and kids did the smash room. Yeah a room where you can go in and smash old computer screens, TVs, monitors, bottles whatever. My son loved it destroying things lol since he knows he can't do that at home or anywhere else. read more

Came in Thursday night to book a Team Party. Guy was awesome working to get us in. Showed up Friday everyone was accommodated, the girls gave a brief tutorial. Our girls had an amazing time! Would highly recommend checking this place out. read more

Had a weekend trip to St George and came here. Had 6 kids with us and we all absolutely loved it. The staff was so helpful and friendly. They took time to show all of us how to throw and through the whole time there they were giving us great advice to become better. They taught us some fun games. We had a BLAST! I took my son and his friends for axe throwing and the smash room. (Ages 12-13) The boys had so much fun! The owners were nice and showed the boys how to throw and that had unlimited time in the smash room. It was perfect time release some Covid frustration. We'll be back! read more
