The ductless master showed in two occasions and after two no call no shows, I decided to not work with them and search for different contractor. I was glad to found JT Comforts. They were very knowledgeable, they came out right away, and were able to detect multiple issues with the previous contractors installation that was causing the leaks . Josh recommended a stronger pumps and with a fair price they had to redo the other contractors installation , and did it the right way. Overall Josh and his team did an excellent job of diagnosing and repairing the problem. I haven't had any leaks since was done. He and his team were professional, efficient, and kind. Buying a mini-split system is an incredibly difficult process. The Mass Save rebate system is very…read moredifficult to navigate. I got quotes and presentations from 4 different vendors and the pitch and price was exactly the same - hour long presentation and a $30k cost. However, what each vendor tells you is that IF you qualify a $10k rebate is available and your net cost is $20k. Essentially the rebate is a scam - it just gives contractors the ability to inflate the prices and use the rebate to make the system sound cheaper than it really is. I finally met with McIver and he was able to simplify the entire process. He is not a Mass Save contractor. So he does not work the rebate, just offers a strait-up cost to install the system. When he gave me his quote, I quickly figured out that Dan McIver was an honest man and that the whole Mass Rebate program was a scam. His quote with the similar equipment and the same number of mini-splits was $13,500. I hired him for the job and they started within a week. One of my biggest concerns was esthetics - I was worried about too many refrigeration lines running around the outside of the house. Our house is a rental property in Cape Cod that had a lot of charm to it and we did not want to ruin the integrity of it. Dan came up with a brilliant solution and was able to run most of the lines through the basement to minimize the lines on the outside of the house - we were so pleased with this solution. His team did a fantastic job building out the system - they were clean and finished the project on the timeline he quoted. The work was high quality!! Net is that Dan took a very complicated buying process and made it simple and affordable. He is highly recommended for the quality of his work, pricing and his honest and straightforward approach!

Bruce also gave me some advice to call the builder and see if his HVAC guy would warranty the work. Job was going to cost me $425 and Bruce cared more about my finances than landing him the job!! Even after I called him back and informed him that he was right, the builder was sending his HVAC guy to fix the problem... Bruce said to call him if we needed anything else. Will definitely be following up with Superior HVAC for any future repairs/maintenance. Very trustworthy and patient. He spent time diagnosing and a good amount of time on the phone with me also. Two guys he sent to the house were professional and knowledgeable. Maybe I can't comment on his work, but his business ethic is honest and professional!!
