I've tried almost every workout class and was really impressed with how many instructors and programs they have. I highly recommend their new hot yoga with Danika and Pilates sculpt with Nikki and Teresa and the tennis clinics! RVC also has the nicest group of people and a very welcoming community. I see why some members have been going for 20 years! I saw a few negative reviews at the salon, and am truly shocked because I've had my hair and nails done here and absolutely loved the color! Heather just did a great job with my holiday nails and Amber has colored my hair a few times now and I always love it/ They are sweetest people and very talented!

My wife and I had an incredible experience with Kim and company. We didn't know anything about…read moredoulas until we took Kim's Yoga for Birth class in September 2019. It opened our hearts and minds to an incredible birthing process. We learned so much more about childbirth than we had known in the past. We had a beautiful, healthy pregnancy, and a healthy childbirth. While it took our little guy 27 hours of labor to join the world, my wife was prepared for it thanks to the guidance of our doulas. This would have been a much harder experience without them. Frankly, it would have been hell! I cannot recommend using a doula enough for childbirth. It helped me so much and it was a huge help for my wife.

We used Kim as our doula and I can say that she was AMAZING. I never thought that I would be…read moresomeone who used a doula (I am a type A personality who is not into yoga, meditation, etc) but my husband and I decided to use one when I wasn't cleared to receive an epidural and I was terrified of the pain during labor. We both thought that it would be beneficial to have someone else there to help us during this process and we were right. Having Kim with us during labor was a game changer. She not only helped me with different pain management techniques but was a calming presence when we dealt with hostile nurses and a stressful labor process. She helped my husband understand decisions that he could make and helped him navigate through a surprisingly complicated labor process. I ended up having a C-section under general anesthesia so he couldn't be in the room and the hospital staff wasn't great in their communication with him. Kim helped ensure that he could be with me in recovery and that I was able to have skin to skin with my baby even if I wasn't fully conscious yet - all things that my husband wouldn't have even known to push for. She was also extremely helpful as a lactation consultant and helped to diagnose me with nipple vasospasm, which helped me be able to breastfeed my baby. Most people would have diagnosed me with thrush based on my symptoms, but when Kim checked in on us after we were home she let me know that this was not the case and I was able to try a few things to help with this. She was extremely helpful with other tips to help with breastfeeding as well. I would definitely recommend Kim to anyone who is thinking of having a doula! She wasn't there just for me, but was there for my husband as well - something we didn't realize how much this was needed at the beginning of our journey. Worth every penny!

The hours were ok, not 24 hours but early and late enough to suit most people. The free weight room is well stocked and I didn't feel intimidated by the guys. It isn't my favorite gym of all time but it serves its purpose. I lived close enough to walk; that was a chilly walk at 5:45 am in the snow, but at least it got me out of the house.

He then tells me oh it's already booked. How for 630 ok well it's 620 it's a nine min max. I said whatever I'm not going to argue set up the other one I have to work. He stands with a stupid look on his face. Says nothing so I go to booth 8, rather than 7 MIND YOU HE GAVE ME WINKIES!! WHY I DON'T KNOW. I go in undress hit botton NOTHING. SO I WAIT TRY AGAIN NOTHING. I get dressed and go out, he says I told you it was booked. Lackadaisical arrogant no sense of customer service at all. I will be canceling my membership today!

The instructor is so inspiring and fun. I can already see an improvement in flexibility and it's only been a couple of weeks! I'm losing weight and the whole experience is such a joy. UVAC is a very special place to stay healthy in the water or in one of the many group fitness classes. While intimidating at 120 lbs when full grown, he captured the hearts of everyone who came to know him. My favorite story is when we were taking a walk in Washington DC along the Mall, when a little girl walked up behind him, and her mother asked if it was okay if she pet him. We had no hesitation about allowing it, as he was so gentle and had been raised in a household with my 4 kids. She pulled a tuft of shedding hair from his backside, looked at it in surprise, and then tried to put it back on him. He was healthy most of his life, with no real problems. But he had to be put down in 2019 due to cancer. I'm going back to this business now for my second shepherd, even though I now live multiple hundreds of miles away. That is how much I trust these people and their animals.
