He said why didn't you do this or that, look buddy my goal was to provide evidence to see if I have a case, not for you to ask me what you would've done. Consultation is really expensive aswell for 1 hour. $680 for a small claims matter. Richard ended reaching out to me and gave me the information I was looking for. I haven't hired this firm but the consultation from him was helpful. Lynn on the other hand was garbage. I can't give it a 5 or 4 from initial interactions. This new review reflects my experience so far from this firm.

I called their office after searching through countless of lawyers and by some miracle I reached Atty Richard Weaver himself. He was thorough, went through every scenario with me and he patiently answered the 20 questions I have. I am not a paying customer but never felt I was wasting his time. I learned later on from his secretary they normally ask $50 deposit for a consult which gets paid back after the consult. Never mentioned it to me during our conversation. Bottomline: Atty Weaver is knowledgeable, straight to the point and very thorough - traits you would want in a lawyer but more importantly for me, he is a good human being who truly wants to help someone in a bad situation. He earned me as a client.

My grandparents chose Mr. Power as their probate lawyer and if they knew how my experience would be I'm sure they would have never gone to him. Mr. Power had been rude, unprofessional, untrustworthy and not transparent throughout my experience with him. As a beneficiary, I received 80% of my inheritance in 2020 and was supposed to receive the rest of it in 2024. No word from Mr power until I contacted him in 2025 one whole year late. Mr power claimed that I had been given everything and when I reminded him of the 20% he claimed he did not have the money and knew nothing of it. A month later he claimed he remembered that he did have the funds but had lost all the paperwork concerning my grandparents estate! I was told the funds would be sent out soon, however this process dragged on a year (after he was already a year late) countless fruitless phone calls where he couldn't even remember what was said the last time we spoke, emails that would go with no response for weeks, and claiming he would send the money the next day and then nothing for months with no explanation. He has treated me and my love ones as an inconvenience and not a priority. When I finally received the funds (2 years late) it was not the amount that I had in my records he became agitated with me and responded with "this concludes our conversation" when there was no conversation at all and I am still waiting on answers. Mr. Powers is highly unprofessional and in the end should not be trusted with handling you or your loved ones affairs!

After leaving that review, I…read morehired Jarrett for representation on a case that I was informed he was an expert in dealing with. Well, based on the (total lack of) performance and thoughtfulness, I slowly learned over more than a year working with him that I was in terrible hands. My experience with counsel was filled with inefficient communication (I am the one who was reaching out monthly for updates). Counsel rarely provides quality updates or makes any reasonable progress. There was evidence that should have been captured by a soil engineer as early as possible in my case, but due to Jarrett's (lack of) guidance, we didn't even have a conversation with an engineer until this very time-sensitive evidence had effectively vanished (moisture had evaporated after more than a year of waiting to get this engineer involved to capture samples). It took me months of asking for the engineer's contact info before Jarrett finally coordinated a phone call with one. By this point, the most important evidence from our case had literally evaporated, and I was left with an immeasurable amount of disappointment.  Hiring this firm was not only a total waste of my time and money, but also cost me invaluable evidence due to negligence when it came to a lack of thoughtful consideration from a so-called expert in what he was hired to tackle. Either there was intentional negligence, or my case just wasn't important enough to focus on; not sure what happened here, but if I could go back, I would have never hired this firm.
