Very disappointing and poor treatment of clients Car was…read morebought new in 2019 from them and has only travelled about 2000 klms a year. Serviced every year by Byrne according to time instead of mileage. I have no issues with the overall 'inspection' components of the service, but had questions about what the actual service work entailed. I asked for a call back to discuss before I dropped the car in. I didn't get one and they were chasing the car the next day. I was looking to understand what a 90,000 klm / 72 month service covered (for $765 + $135 for a 'recommended' brake fluid replacement) as some components (such as a chassis tightening) wont be required when the car has only done about 12,000 klms. I got the 'I'm not a mechanic' response, yet I couldn't speak to one. When I wanted to discuss needless work (such as chassis tightening) versus what should be done (such as an oil & filter change) given the low mileage and being charged accordingly, the response I got was 'cars are meant to be driven' and that it was Ford policy to just follow the process and charge the customer for it. To me there was a complete lack of understanding of the practicalities in their approach and no desire to understand the clients position. It was just all about doing/saying they had done the work regardless of whether the car needed it or not and charging for it. Needless to say - cancelled the work and went elsewhere.

Rip off and unprofessional…read more I ordered a new tyre from Northside Honda on 21/11/18 for $295. I went in to pick it up today and was given the 'rubber' tyre only. I don't know much about cars but I was expecting, either the new tyre comes with rims or that Honda will fit the tyre onto my rims. None of the above happen. The staff just put the rubber into my car and was happy for me to drive off. I was then told there might be additional charges to put the rubber onto my rims. After speaking with other staff members, it was confirmed that the cost of $295 includes the rubber tyre and fitting, but this can't be done today so I have to go back next week. I am dissatisfied that I wasted an hour driving to Northside Honda just to be given a piece of rubber for $295, and later told that there might be additional charges for the fitting. Honda employees should be more professional and knowledgeable. They should know their products, that a new tyre purchased includes the rubber tyre and fitting. I am also dissatisfied that I had to paid for the tyre today when nothing has been done. And, that I still have to go back next week to get it fitted. This is unnecessary stress and could have been avoided had Northside Honda's employees been more professional and educated on their products and services.

Dishonest and aggressive…read more I know used car sales people are not known for being honest and helpful, but I still think a degree of customer care is required. I bought a mini cooper a year ago, and while it was advertised as with blue tooth installed, the blue tooth was never installed. I spent months chasing this up and being fobbed off with false promises. I was told that when I got my 6 month service, this would be addressed, only to arrive for the service and have them refuse to install the blue tooth. I ended up paying almost $300 for a service, which appears to be almost 3 x market rate, in which they billed me for swapping my squeaky windscreen wipers for new squeaky windscreen wipers), and I didn't even get the service I wanted. I know blue tooth is a small thing, but the fact that I was consistently lied to and fobbed off, and ultimately mis-sold a car which didn't have the features advertised, means I had a very bad experience. Add on aggressive and pushy sales staff, and the end result is I wont be going back and I wouldn't recommend anyone deal with these people.
