When i replaced the battery (elsewhere) two days later the Bling Spot Monitoring started working - miracle. This was a safety risk so I took it to Kia and they assessed it and advised that it'll take a few days to get the part. A few days later, I get the call and go in and they tell me it isn't covered under warranty and I'll need to pay. The reason they gave is because they thought that my mechanic must have damaged it in the last service. As it was an emergency, I paid the money but explained that it's a warranty problem and I shouldn't have to pay. They didn't care whatsoever. Not happy at all.
