After spending the day…read morelearning what I can I decided to go pick up groceries...Upon getting to the store I realize I lost my keys. I call the Taxi cab company and asked them if they had found a set. They said they would look and call me back. well I went into the store not realizing I lost reception until I step back out and my phone dings saying I had a missed call. I called the cab they said they would pick me up and bring my keys. The cab driver who picked me up had no clue what I was talking about so he called in and asked about my keys. turns out that the guy who drove me to work took my keys home with him... so I asked the cab dispatcher where he lived so I could go pick them up...she said she didn't know as he moved around a lot and that he doesn't have a phone so she cant call him. (after getting all bitchy at me) so the driver said he knew where the guy was living (in a motel for the winter) and would drive me there so I hung up with the dispatcher. not even two mins later the dispatcher calls the driver and threatens to fire him if he takes me to pick up my keys...so I have him drive me to my apartment. After unloading all my groceries onto a wet cold porch, listening to my dog cry becouse I cant get it... I realize I had left my bedroom window unlocked. I popped it out and haul my fat ass in getting mud all over my wall...Point of the story is If I get arrested for breaking into my own apartment I might need bail...OH AND DONT USE ACE TAXI!!!! What is really sad is I have been a loyal customer to ACE since I moved to this location.

A year after I left, he came to America, and my family unofficially adopted him. He became a Marine, and he was directly involved in helping people get out of Afghanistan during the pullout last summer -- including his own family. Today, after spending months in refugee housing, the last three family members at Fort McCoy needed a ride to the Minneapolis Airport. We had a scheduled Lyft, but no drivers accepted the trip. Their flight is this afternoon. We started asking people to pray. We struck out with Uber, too. We started calling all the taxi services in the area. They were all sympathetic, and one of the La Crosse taxi services found a driver, but Matt Purtee at Monroe County came through first, because he is minutes away from Fort McCoy. When the day came to actually get packed and moved it was anything but. It was supposed to be a 2 day job, that turned into 3 days. On the first day 3 people showed up, 4 HOURS LATE. Only 1 of them worked the other 2 that showed up slept in the truck for 2 hours or so before they even lifted a finger. The 2 people that were sleeping in the truck, The OWNER AND HIS WIFE. When they finally all started working they took a break about every 30 minutes meanwhile charging us by the hour. A couple other people showed up and one of them needed to use the restroom, I'm fine with that, when you gotta go you gotta go. But he was nice enough to clog the toilet with what looked like about a half a roll of toilet paper and didn't say anything about it. The toilet ran all night and flooded the bathroom which leaked through the floor into the laundry room and resulted in the ceiling getting damaged and had to be repaired 3 days before closing on the house. They packed numerous things we told them not to that needed to stay with the house, and didn't load everything that needed to go. They loaded the table top but not the legs, only loaded 2 out of 4 of the patio chairs, and multiple delicate and fragile things showed up on the other end damaged. My daughter had a white board that wouldn't fit in the box they were trying to put it in so they FOLDED IT IN HALF. We had a some copper stamped artwork from Africa that was ROLLED up. Every box I open I find more and more things damaged from careless packing. Chaz kept telling us he was the best, and he is. THE BEST AT WRECKING YOUR BELONGINGS. I will never use them again and I would not recommend them to anyone.

They arrived a few minutes early and were friendly and ready to go right off the truck. They were professional and focused and handled my items with care. They made it look so easy! They put the items in my new house exactly where I wanted them and even helped carry some extra items in from the garage. They were great, would recommend them to anyone looking for a mover. Our front-load washer barely fit up the stairs from the basement, but they got it out without a scratch! Excellent experience.
