I posted on YELP that I needed 2 jobs done in our home. The first job, was to replace the broken…read moretrim adjacent our bedroom door. Secondly, we needed the towel holder in the bathroom to be secured to the wall. I didn't feel that I could successfully complete either of these jobs. Carlos with Bossotros Any Services was the 1st handyman to respond. I explained the details of what I needed done, & he asked if he could come by & see the issues firsthand.I replied,"Yes.", & we set up a meeting. He & his coworker, Erick arrived, came in, & reviewed the work that I wanted done. Carlos took measurements, & passed on to Erick what materials needed to be purchased. Afterwards Carlos said that they did want the work, & that he would contact me with an estimate. Not long after that, he replied with his estimate. I said, "Yes I could afford it." I scheduled an appointment for the work, & on that day he & Erick arrived. The first thing that Carlos said to me was, "The price of the trim that he bought to replace my broken trim, had increased since he quoted me the estimate." He even pulled out the sales receipt from Home Depot, & asked me if I still wanted the jobs done? I looked in my check book register, & said, "Yes." He & Erick immediately began replacing our broken trim. Before I knew it, they had replaced our broken trim, & Carlos asked me how it looked? I checked out their work & replied,"That looks great."They gathered their tools, & headed for our bathroom. After a few minutes, Carlos advised me that they needed to go get a specific item from the hardware store. In a brief period they returned, & they very quickly secured our towel holder to the wall. He again asked me to review their work. I said that it looked awesome. I gave Carlos the money, & a thank you card. Without a doubt, I HIGHLY recommend Bossotros Any Services.

Did not finish the job. I was not smart enough to wait and pay Carlos and his crew until the job…read morewas finished. Sheetrocked a ceiling and applied mud with NO tape or mesh. The most important part. I asked 3 times about tape and was assured by Carlos Lopez Marquez it was applied. I"m in the process of notifying the insurance company as it was their money he took without finishing. Everything now needs to be undone. Buyer beware. Do not pay until job is done and inspected by a professional or someone you trust. If site allows me I'll happily include picture's. They do not clean up after themselves and also put lights up and didn't wire them properly.

I feel compelled to add to my previous review. On Wednesday, they were supposed to show up at…read more9:30Am and didn't. So, I spent FIVE hours cleaning the mess they made, putting everything away, and reinstalling the light switch figures that they removed. Then, at 2:30pm Estik's partner showed up, not even able to speak one word to me. I asked, "What happened to you?" And he called Estik, then spoke into his translator App. and Estik typed into the phone message that he was on another job in Tennessee and his car broke down. I told him I didn't want them to come back because alot of what they did has to be done over. Then later around 3:30pm Estik showed up at my door and asked my to take down the review. Then he was confused about a payment he received from another client and said he didn't want to double charge me. I told him that his $500.00 deposit cleared and the $250.00 cash payment that he asked me for on the first day was processed. He offered to give my money back if I take down the review. On the first day he was here I typed my name and phone number into his phone and he obviously deleted it and blocked me because he asked me again what my name was and for my phone number. One last thing, he left a pile of paint pieces on the floor next to the water heater. I didn't notice until my puppy came to me with pieces of it in his mouth! I was upset and tried to return the paint to Sherwin Williams because they gave me the wrong shade of green. While online I was venting to the person next to me and the worker at the counter overheard my conversation and accused me of being "racist" and refused to help me. In conclusion, Estik showed very poor judgement and a lack of respect. I have never had anyone ask me for cash in advance, abandon the job and leave everything a mess!!!!
