When I entered there was a disabled man sleeping and using the outlets to charge his phone. A few minutes later another homeless guy walked in complaining about losing his birth certificate and social security card. I would have left after the first red flag but I had already started washing my comforter and had a few minutes to go. Then another two sketchy looking guys came in one was wearing a his shirt inside out. He kept coming in and out into a back room, I'm assuming to do drug. I'm making this assumption because the entire place smelled like weed. By this time my comforter is in the dryer and I have a few minutes left to suffer. The only reason I chose this place was the convenience for my schedule. Moving forward I WILL NOT be supporting this location. Filthy, ran down, needs 24/7 security, several broken machines. The only plus was it cost $5 to wash and dry my comforter and sheets due to the size of the machines. $4 for the washer and $1 for the dry.

So if you're not familiar with the area you'll be looking at the wrong side of the road and drive in circles. Driveway is steep. Gotta back out at an angle or you'll scrape your vehicles bottom or back end. Facility is decent. Prices are a little high $4-6 for washing. Drying is ok at $1.50 a load. One bathroom for men and women or children to all share. No paper towels. 4 machines are taped over and not working. All in all ok and we'll use it again.

I know the owners weren't staffing the place. I am a weekly patron and pay an average of 25.00 per week to do my laundry there while my husband and I finish building our new home. Kim is awesome and the main reason I go there. I think I will go to the other laundromat simply because this one is apparently open on Christmas also. I arrived early before the crowd got bad. My first impression was very positive, as it looked very modern with nice washers and dryers and had very nice tables and chairs. The prices were higher than what I'm used to paying in my area. I pay 2.25 here and theirs were 3.00. I thought, well that's not bad since they're new washers, but I didn't realize that 3.00 was for cold water! When I pushed "hot wash" it jumped to 3.50! So that's quite a bit more than I pay here. Also, the dryers in the laundromats up here give me 7 minutes for 25 cents. Down there I had to pay 50 cents for the same amount of time. For management's information, I used 3 washers - #3, 4, and 5. I had whites in #3 and 4 and 5 were colors. I put my liquid detergent in the correct slots that were indicated in all 3 washers. I noticed that only #4 had suds! 3 and 5 were just sloshing clear water around! It's a mystery what happened to the detergent I put in 2 of the washers, but I knew I had wasted my money because all they were doing was getting the clothes WET! When I removed my whites, it was very obvious that they weren't clean and I had even added bleach! So I wasted a lot of money ($15) wetting and drying dirty laundry that didn't come clean! I'll have to rewash everything at a different laundromat in my area and I won't go back there!

This Laundromat rocks…read more Amazing number of machines for wash and dry. Same prices as at the place on Cherokee but sooo much better. Wide, clean, open space. Free Wi-Fi. Tables and chairs where you can sit and get on your computer, read, whatever while you wait. Or, you can go to the BiLo to grocery shop, in the same shopping center, while your goods are getting polished. #4 bus runs right to and from it, if you are coming or going from downtown or East Lake/HP.
