She got the oil change and then was told that it would take over $1500.00 in repairs before they could align the vehicle. She was also charged $ 40.00 for checking the vehicle since she wouldn't get the repairs. ( that she didn't need).The vehicle was then carried to another shop where they did the alignment with no problems. A total of four mechanics looked at the vehicle and stated that the vehicle was fine and the vehicle did not need the repairs that had been recommended by 49 Tiremart. If you plan on using these people just know they will lie about the repairs you may need. Get a second opinion. After getting nowhere complaining to the shop personnel, I spoke to the owner Gerald Brown who made the decision that instead of doing what was right and paying back the $40 and call it a mistake, he would stand behind his employees who without a doubt tried to take advantage of a 72 year old woman. Says a lot about his character also. It also make you wonder how many times they have actually got unknowing people to pay for repairs they never needed.
