After years of heartache and hassle I had to evict him. I decided that I just wanted to sell the house and get a fresh start. My best friend said that he sold a house several years back and used Theresa to help him with it. He said that she was on top of the entire process and knew everything that was happening at all times and even when the housing market was going crazy and every Realtor was out to make the "Big Bucks" he said she stayed in contact with him throughout the entire process and never made him feel like he was just a quick buck. This sounded perfect to me especially since I live in CA and needed someone that would be hands on throughout the entire process. I met with Theresa and she immediately made me feel comfortable. Her positive outlook on selling my house was so comforting even when we found out I owed to much to sell right now. She told me not to worry we can get the house fixed up (which needed to be done whether I sold it or not) and rent it for a year or more depending on how it went. She immediately took control of the whole situation and was able to get all the repairs done within 2 weeks. She was in constant communication throughout the entire process, no matter how big or small the issue. I never had to go back to AZ once while the house was being repaired/cleaned. The most amazing part about the whole situation is that she was not making much money on this deal, but she put in the time and effort like it was a million dollar listing. Then to top it all off, she listed the house on Monday and had it rented out by Tuesday afternoon. I can't say thank you enough for all the hard work she put into getting my house back in order and rented out so quick. Shopping for my second home, I absolutely dreaded it and was expecting it to be a similar nightmare. Lo and behold, Those Callaways took every step of the process and made it as crystal clear or as smooth as possible. I actually enjoyed buying my home and am happy that I did it. He wasn't perfect, but he was there for me each step of the way. Cons: I didn't get to work with Donna start to finish. These folks have a weird set up where your agent, isn't your agent. One person shows you house, she goes away then someone else does paperwork, they go away then someone else comes in for negotiations, then their is field agents for inspections and walk through a, and then there is...well you get it. All in 4-6 different people to buy 1 house, apart from title company, lender etc. just not for me. Another con is the joker/lender the recommended at first. I talk to him, he says he'll email me, never does, I call, I email him, I email again, a week later when I call the Calloways for a replacement he finally calls me and says "oh I delegated that, did no one contact you" pfffft lol great lender, delegate me and a 900k loan to some lackey before we even start...um no. So in a nut shell, if you want a relationship with an Agent, these guys n gals aren't set up for you....just want to get a house sold in hurry, yeah I might call them. You probably won't feel like these folks are 'for' you...but they do know real estate. Update; just bumped them up two stars...3 days after close the A/C went out...Joe & JoAnn got involved and got the home warranty company to step in and resolve the issue. Well done Those Callaways...very classy!

Dan handled her lack of competence with professionalism and kept on top of things. That made the job much harder for him, I am sure. He was always upbeat and fun to work with as well. I recommend Dan but don't want him to get so busy he can't be my realtor next time. He was the best with follow up I have ever experienced and I have bought and sold several homes in several states. I was trying to rent my house out, but after three months with no luck, I decided to cancel my…read morecontract. Customer service and professionalism was lacking when it came to the cancellation process. I was met with petty emails bullying me about my unwillingness to pay cancellation fees when there were none clearly listed in my contract nor did I have clear instructions on how to pay these fees. When I was directed to pay the cancellation fees on the Realty 85 website, the website didn't even work. Once I had an account reset and was able to log into my account I didn't even have charges listed in my account. After finally making my cancellation payment, my realtor sent me an email with the words "I am a true believer in Karma and I'm not going to beg for payment."

Then she proceeded to send people to my home harassing me with notices. 1st a 30 day. Then a COUPLE OF DAYS LATER with a 10day AND a 2 day notice.BOTH TAPED TO THE FRONT DOOR AT THE SAME TIME! Had the water shut off with no notice. knowing I have children in the home. Just because her tenant subleases to me doesn't mean Cathy has the right to treat me like I am trash. I have pay my bills. Rent isn't missed. So don't I have the right to at least have a respectful conversation?? This woman and this company are not recommended if you're looking to be treated with respect and like you're a human being.
