They sent me a letter stating my flood insurance wasn't enough. Not for me, the letter does clearly state this insurance is for them only. No details. No amounts. Nothing. These warning letters state they will auto-add if they do not hear from you or receive notice that you added mystery insurance. I called to get details. How am I supposed to ask for quotes when I have no information on what I need to add? The person I spoke with explained that they lie and have stated they called me (did not. I have never rec'd any calls from them since signing) and would get back to me. Today I receive my additional insurance policy information in the mail. At least I know have data to get quotes. And will be reporting them to the BBB for potential fraud. Find someone else for your mortgage.

I had a horrible experience working with RMS, Residential Mortgage Services. After closing on my…read morewaterfront property in March, they immediately sold my mortgage to another bank. While that happens often in the mortgage world, RMS made so many mistakes in the process that caused me months of unnecessary added costs and stress. Toni Rubino, and later Joanna Bailey, mistakingly pulled the wrong Flood Certificate at my closing, passed along the wrong certificate and the wrong address to the other bank. This caused my property to go into 6 months of forced flood insurance penalty until my lawyer and a new LOMA from FEMA could fix the situation. RMS offered no help. They made a mistake and I was left with the headache and extra costs. Do yourself a favor and don't work with them. They mess up the paperwork and pass the problem along.

Rented a property through The Markel Realty Group and have been a little disappointed. In the…read moretwelve months that we have been with at the property, we have not heard one thing until we informed them we were leaving. They have been extremely disorganized in terms of getting a replacement tenant. We leave the property tomorrow and still this property management company has not even contacted us to arrange collection of the keys - unbelievable. We can't say that these guys are bad, the simple fact is we just don't know as there has been no interaction. Not a good experience from a renter perspective.
