They had a video montage playing that included many photos throughout his life. What I really appreciated about the staff was that they were not hovering over everything or being in our faces, they gave us our space during this difficult time and they were so friendly and helpful as we entered and exited. I really recommend Daley Life Celebration Studio for a very personalized experience and their kindness will never be forgotten.

Based on my father's military service, she thoughtfully suggested and handled the arrangements for a military funeral including folding of the flag and playing Taps. The visitation was truly a celebration of life with many pictures displayed on the shelves and we especially liked how everyone went around the room and shared a memory of my father. There was a lot of laughter and joking which really helped ease the pain. Patrick spoke at the cemetery after the presentation of the flag. The entire service was very dignified and would have pleased my father.

Never in a million years did I think I would be writing a review for a funeral home but here we…read moreare, grieving a devastating loss. We learned that my brother passed away tragically and to be honest, we had no clue where to start. The rest of our family is all spread out so we did everything we had to do by phone. I was tasked to choose and contact a funeral home for arrangements. A quick google search showed that White-Luttrell was the closest to where my brother lived and had 5 star reviews. I picked up the phone on a Sunday morning and Jason answered my call. Again, having no clue what to do, what they would need, what I needed, what my last name was, or anything... Jason had such a kind and welcoming presence and it was much appreciated. Jason walked me through everything including what to expect next, when they would receive my brother from the county coroner, when we could expect his ashes to be ready, when the death certificate would be ready, and even filled out all the paperwork for me and simply needed my signature. I couldn't believe how seamless he made such an emotional process. My sister and I showed up 5 days later to meet Jason in person and retrieve the remains of our brother. While there, we were treated with the utmost respect and even humor, cause that's how my siblings and I have always been, laughing at all times (it's a great way to keep from sobbing 24/7). It was a fast visit. Jason had all the paper work prepared for us again, and we picked out a small urn for my brother's girlfriend. Signed some papers and swiped a credit card (FYI, cremation services are surprisingly way less money than I would have expected) and were headed out to learn to live with one less sibling. Cannot thank Jason enough for his kindness, compassion, and humor when my family needed it the most.

I would highly recommend the services of the White-Luttrell Funeral Homes. Directors Harold…read moreWhartnaby and Bruce Ertwine are extremely professional and caring. They will guide you through every step of planning a dignified funeral within your means, without being pushy, or trying to "up sell" you at every turn. They are very organized, and no details are forgotten or overlooked. I entrusted both my parents funerals to them, and they did not disappoint. Very happy with their services.

You can imagine our devastation after not only losing my dad but then having an incompetent funeral director drop the ball and never bother to inform us the Navy wasn't coming. When he called today after getting nasty with me via text when confronted after my dads memorial service Bob told me that he didn't realize that Friday was a federal holiday and that was why he couldn't confirm the detail for a Saturday funeral. Now mind you he had almost 4 weeks to do it as we had my dad cremated. Well I guess he was the only person in the US who didn't realize that the Navy is a federal outfit and they would be closed on Juneteenth. He never thought to call prior to that even though I submitted all necessary paperwork to him well before the service. Oh yes, I had to get all of the paperwork. That was another task he as the director couldn't handle! My mom even touched base with him a few days prior to my dad's service and he told her it was a go. He then lied and stated that he never said that after I confronted him. Through all of this my dad never received the military honors at his burial and it has caused my family so much emotional distress and we are even more devastated that my dad never received the burial he deserved. All because of utter incompetence!
