There's nothing like having a doctor perform emergancy surgery on you and then talk down to you following the surgery because you only saw your primary care doctor and not a specialist like Dr Rosenberg, a real OB GYN doctor... which he brags about being the best in all of Lake County. Fast forward a year later and my wife went back to see Robert and he recommended my wife have an ultrasound which we did because she had excessive bleeding again. It has been 6 days since the ultrasound and Robert has yet to review the results. My wife had to go to his office to get his attention (because they never answer the phone when you call) only to be talked down to again. Husbands please take your wive's to great doctors.

Dr. Oh took the time to review my images and then sat down with me to go over her thoughts, answer my questions, and talk about how she recommended we move forward. I was so impressed and put at ease by this interaction. I finally felt like someone was giving it to me straight and like I had a voice into my care. Following this appointment, I transitioned to this being my primary OBGYNE provider. When we started trying to conceive at the end of 2018 and had difficulty, Dr. Oh again was so gracious, patient, and sympathetic. She helped us navigate some preliminary testing to check if anything was amiss as we continued to try. When we finally, thankfully were able to conceive on our own, Dr. Oh came in to the room for our first appointment and celebrated with us. We could sense her genuine excitement for us after trying for almost a year. I have experienced these doctors in some challenging medical situations. Not only my ovarian cyst, and trying to conceive, but also a subchorionic hematoma, difficult delivery, and now progesterone shots for my second pregnancy. Dr. Heiberger commanded the room with a firm but calm demeanor when I was delivering my first son and had complications. The nurses have gone to battle for me in this pregnancy with the specialty pharmacy to make sure I get my weekly progesterone shots delivered on time. I can't say enough good things about this place. This practice has been an excellent place for me and my growing family.

During my time with this practice, I experienced: - Three billing errors on their end that required lots of time on the phone with insurance and their billing dept. to correct - They lost all of the images from my 20-week ultrasound so I had to go back for another set of images which they tried to bill me for out of pocket and I did not get the anatomy scan results until 28-weeks pregnant - A 45-minute wait (at least!) every time I went in The final straw for me was at my 28-week appointment where Dr. Schaefer was extremely dismissive of my questions regarding the 3rd trimester and birth planning. She told me if I had questions about induction and c-section, I better take a birthing class. She couldn't even be bothered to look in my chart and see my age, so she gave me incorrect information on what my final appointments would be like! I left the office in tears and never looked back. Moms to be you deserve better!

My birth experience with my first child was absolutely traumatic from doctors care. I was in the…read morehospital for over 6 days, everything that could go wrong did. I had great nursing care but this group of doctors are horrible and incompetent. Before giving birth they failed to tell me my child was not growing & was severely underweight. I questioned why I couldn't feel my baby kick. they failed to tell me I had an anterior placenta..... I could go on and on. For gynecological care all they care about is money. if you have frequent UTIs and know your symptoms they won't call in an order for urine, they make you suffer until you can get an appointment. They are horrible in so many ways. I definitely don't recommend!!!
