My experience with Robert Butler and this firm was beyond horrific. Not only did this attorney…read moreovercharge me to the tune of $23,000, but he also lied to me throughout the process and demonstrated complete incompetence by losing crucial personal belongings that served as evidence in my case. To make matters worse, he attempted to cross personal boundaries by trying to pursue my girlfriend at the time-- Who was also a client that he offered to represent for free so she didn't file against him(a blatant violation of professionalism and ethics). Robert Butler offered to reimburse me 5000.00 and never honored that arrangement. So I filed a grievance. When I filed a grievance with the Ohio Bar, armed with evidence to support my allegations, they chose to ignore the gravity of the situation. Adding insult to injury, this attorney used his connections, including his new wife, to manipulate the process and have my grievance thrown out. This was an appalling abuse of power and demonstrated a lack of accountability within the system. This experience was a $23,000 lesson learned the hard way. If you value integrity, professionalism, and trustworthiness in an attorney, stay far away from Robert Butler and this law firm.

I met with attorney Christopher Travis for consultation, and he answered the other legal questions I had. I left with the bankruptcy worksheet, and filled it out that evening. I scheduled and attended my second meeting a week ago where I bought in my packet of documents and the worksheet. Chris went over the worksheet, and gave them everything.
