Dr. Natalie Graziano is one of the most kind, attentive, and compassionate doctors I've ever had. She truly listens, never rushes, and always makes you feel seen and cared for. Her sweet and calming presence makes every visit comfortable and reassuring. I refer her to everyone I know because she's not only an excellent physician, but a genuinely wonderful human being. Dr. Kelly is also an incredible doctor, professional and thorough. It's clear that this practice is built on genuine care and strong values. However, I do feel it's important to be honest about the front desk experience. There is one receptionist who answers the phone and tends to be unfriendly, which unfortunately discourages people, my daughter included, from wanting to schedule appointments. It's disappointing, especially when the medical care here is outstanding. Cheryl was always a favorite, warm, kind, and welcoming, and I truly miss her. Susan is also wonderful and treats patients with the same kindness and respect we all deserve. When patients walk into a doctor's office, they're often dealing with pain, fear, or vulnerability. A little warmth and compassion from the front desk can go a long way. Dr. John Kelly has expertise in treating diabetes, obesity, hypertension, among other conditions. Is also affiliated with RWJ Barnabas at Clara Maass, and other hospitals in the area. Sadly the reviews about the office staff remains true even years later. I have been to Dr. Kelly's office several times and met dr. Kelly on one occasion and he is a very nice guy. But unfortunate;y since the office is under his name the reviews fall on him. The office staff is terrible (besides Cheryl she is a sweetheart). Made an appointment with this Lady who just seems like she's naturally nasty/ rude and cant help it. after I made the appointment I realized my insurance had changed and called back not even a min later and spoke to someone else who told me my appointment was never made. After speaking with this woman for 10 mins she puts me on hold and the rude woman answers, and this time you guessed it, She was still incredibly nasty/ rude. Found my appointment everything was set (the other woman was looking at the wrong date -__-) The day of my appointment I get there walk in and this woman looks at me like I did something to make her upset and I immediately knew it was the woman I made the appointment with. They check me in and I go into the room and wait. The woman who took my vitals and all that (this was an annual physical) seemed to have no idea what she was doing which is not very comforting. As she is doing everything the rude woman who I was previously speaking about barges in the room without knocking while I had my shirt up Which made me even more uncomfortable. After all of that this woman, I'm not sure if she's a dr or PA she never introduced herself gives me a half ass exam and just leaves the room without asking me if there was anything I was concerned about or anything. The lack of care they have for their patients is sad. they call me a day or 2 later with my results, which they also billed me for. This office just looks at you as a number they don't care about you as a patient. Sadly I guess that's How the medical field works these days. read more

Just called to get a physical and the person I talked to was so rude. Was rushed, and spoken to shortly. Asked for an appointment later in the day as I cannot get off of work since I'm trying to pay for college/don't have a car until the afternoon, and she was so unhelpful. When I asked if they did the blood work there she scoffed and seemed like I was dumb for even asking. I Just hung up, I'll find somewhere else, I won't put up with being spoken to like that. Dr Kelly is a great guy with a wonderful personality. As my primary care physician he is great. He knows exactly what he's doing and how to do it. He doesn't show favoritism in his office which is terrific. He barely has a wait time in his office and he makes sure that you get in and out quickly. One time I broke my ankle and I was sitting in the waiting room at clara Maas hospital (where dr. Kelly is the president of) for about an hour and 15 minutes and I was going through extreme pain so I called Dr.Kelly, he said not to worry and that I was going to be in within the next 5 minutes , he made a phone call next thing I knew there was a guy running out of the emergency room with a wheel chair for me. I have been visiting Dr. Kelly for as long as I can remember. He has always been there to make sure everything was in good order with my health. Dr. Kelly performed all of my sports physicals, regular checkups and would see me anytime I was ill. This doctor is extremely intelligent and a quick thinker. I find comfort in the fact that Dr. Kelly really knows his stuff, and is also a good person. I have witness him just sit and talk with an older patient who was clearly just looking for someone to share thoughts with...The office was very busy but he still had the kindness and compassion to not rush away to the next person waiting. This 2 star review is based on the office staff. NOT the doctor. I have yet to meet with the doctor, well at least not during my adult life. John Kelly was my PCP back before I could even look over the receptionist desk. Around 12 years old my insurance carrier changed and their office didn't take it. Fast forward 15 years later my new carrier is accepted by his office. I haven't actually met with him, but I've met with the physican's assistant who is the sweetest of sweets! So caring and c She always answers my questions in full detail. She's a medical book and I love it! But before you can meet with her, you have to get passed the barbed wire fence made out of the wicked witches of West Passaic street.... (the office staff) The receptionists for this office are all rude. I've been hung up on several times, 1x was after scheduling an appt. I called back a few days later to reschedule at an earlier time... and you would've thought I demanded her to set up an appt. w/ the doc at the Oyster bar in Grand Central and to bring a bottle of Dom Perignon White Gold Jeroboam ... & to waive the co-pay. lol I mean that woman's attitude is no good for business. But hey, I get it, it's a stressful job... all day, every day... Then on my way to the appt. I was hung up on when asking for directions because I didn't know the business was in a residential area. (it's been over 15 years, I honestly didn't remember). I called back because I thought 'hey maybe my phone's poor reception disconnected the call'... this young witch confirmed that my phone didn't, and hung up again :*( Everytime I call to set up an appointment whoever picks up the phone just sounds like they totally hate their life, which makes it hard to have any faith that the doctors appointment will be any better. My boyfriend who has never had insurance but recently got it, tried scheduling an appointment but was turned off by whichever witch picked up the phone... and was abruptly hung up on too. (He's not that good on the phone, never knows what to say so in this case ONLY I don't blame them for hanging up on him LOL). But I've always felt the need to confront the witches about this issue. And every time I go there's always like 5 of the witches young and old behind the desk just "hanging out"... and I always chicken out because I don't want to be chased out of the office with brooms. I went for blood work and the witch who did it had these big bangle bracelets that were rubbing all over my arm (ew) and then on top of that she only put one glove on (her right hand) which was holding my left arm, she cleans the skin area with an alcohol wipe (ok thats fine) but then she feels out the area with her left hand which had no glove and her dirty bracelets are just rubbing all over my arm. I asked her nicely, 'hey could you please put a glove on that hand, i'm a germaphobe ::smiles::'... she just looked at me with a blank stare... I was asking for the impossible to be done. That request was not granted, she found the vein, took the blood and I wanted to die lol. In another future appt., the office had called me around 8:30am, by the time I got to the phone it stopped ringing. Since I had an appointment scheduled that same day I assumed they were calling to confirm. I called right back and said, "hi, I just recieved a missed call, I'm assuming it was in reference to my appointment later today. my name is -" and before I could finish the response was, "we're not open yet you have to call back later!" call disconnects -_____- FYI - ONLY ONE LAB, ONE LAB ONLY!! This office only works with ONE LAB, which is out of network (for me). I wish they had told me that they didn't work with my lab since it's clearly printed on my insurance ID card. I've gone to other doctors that have saved me thousands by giving me a heads up that they don't work with my in network lab. But not this office. When I got my claim it didn't say which doctor was billing me and I had gone to 5 that week (3 on the same day). I decided to call this office first (just to get it out of the way) and once again, whoever picked up the phone, thought I was asking her to move mountains, like she really didn't want to tell me what labs they work with. "That's not my job you have to call in the morning". I tried briefly explaining to her my situation before I was hung up on like usual & in the most assertive of assert voices she replies, "we only work with ONE LAB, one lab ONLY and that's Accurate Diagnostic Labs, but I don't do the claims you have to call back in the morning!" and I thanked her and you guessed it.... the call ended. I'm sorry I can't give a better review, I TRULY hate giving reviews less than 3 stars, and I really like the physician assistant, she always answers my questions. But I hate having to cross the barbed wire fence built out of these wicked witches from the West side of Passaic street. read more

Today was the second time I went to this office. The first time I waited almost 2 HOURS to be seen by the doctor. He apologized and said they were slammed that day so I figured I'd give them another chance. Today I arrived at 8:59 for my 9am appt for a flu shot (the earliest appt they have). That's it. A flu shot. I sat in the office for 20 minutes before a nurse took my vitals. Then I waited another 10 mins because she said the doctor needed to see patients before getting the vaccine. After asking why I needed to see the doctor to get the flu shot they said he needed to monitor my breathing. BS!!! I waited another 5 mins and after telling them I couldn't wait anymore because my husband was with my son and needed to get to work they told me the doctor wasn't there yet and they hadn't heard from him all morning. I again asked if the nurse could just give me the flu shot like my last doctor's office had, or like any Target, CVS, etc. and they said they couldn't without the doctor seeing me first. I can only imagine this reason being so they can charge my insurance for a full office visit. Why else would they make me wait? I even brought my 23 month old son to his ped office yesterday and the nurse gave him a flu shot in less than 5 mins with no vitals being checked. I won't be going back to Dr. Kelly's office and made that clear to them before leaving today. Terrible. read more

My very first visit to the office of Dr John Kelly was excruciatingly terrible. The waiting room was over packed and the appointments were backed up. My appointment was for 3:15pm and I didn't get in until 5:10pm. After watching other patients walk in from outside and go right in and all the waiting, I was finally called in. The nurse noticed I had high blood pressure which was never addressed by the doctor. Dr Kelly walked into the tiny examination room extremely arrogant, narcissistic and condescending. The PA is a sweetheart. She answered all my questions and did not rush me out of the room like most do. Making an appointment was very easy.

My father was in the hospital for a blood clot and Dr. John Kelly was his main physician. He was absolutely horrible. No manners what so ever. First night my father was in an extreme amount of pain and he kept asking the nurse for pain killers and they kept calling the Dr. and no answer. They called him 5 times with no answer. He walked into my dad's room the next day like "What do you want??". As he left the room he yelled at the nurse "Five times you called?!?! FIVE TIMES?!? SHEESH" What an ignorant moron!!!! Anytime he came to check on my father, he never examined him, asking him what level of pain he is in, never gave him any reassurance on his status. He told my father he was going home without any reassurance. To top off this nightmare, he wrote a prescription for the pain killers and a blood test on the same prescription slip. So when we get to the pharmacy, pharmacist says " What doctor writes a prescription for pain killers and a blood test on the same slip???" The pharmacy has to keep the slip and of course we are left with nothing to show that the DR prescribed the blood test. We had to go back to the hospital and they were shocked that the DR did something so STUPID. He has no manners, no sensitivity towards his patients. We will never ever go to him nor will we recommend him to anyone. THE WORST!!!!!! read more
