This place is like heaven on earth. Especially for a budding gardener like myself! Row upon row of fresh vege, blooming flowers and buzzing bees. The whole place is teaming with life, it almost looks a overgrown but in an strangely organised way.
I went for the first time to their Spring Festival so i'm not sure what the normal arrangement is but I think they have select hours that they are open to the public... perhaps check their FB page...
It's not often you'll hear me praising the council but this is one of those rare occasions. The land must be worth a fortune but they've resisted temptation to sell and kept this glorious urban oasis for the whole community to enjoy - love it! read more
