Great & quick service! We drove to Kelowna from Vancouver, and unfortunately the bike rack was too close to the muffler and my husband's tire melted from the exhaust. Brought his bike in and they were able to replace the tire immediately so we could head out on our ride right then! It was even more awesome that they had that specialty type of tire in stock When we were getting ready to head out, the dude was happy to show my husband the proper way to grease the chain and he also tightened up my water bottle holder. This place was the most unprofessional bike shop I have been too ,I went to the other three bike shops Intown to have a bike part looked at unfortunately none of the shops could fix it in-house ,this shop looked at my part 10 mins later charges me 30 bucks !!! For doing nothing ! The individual tells me to call his boss if I have concern ?? ive been to all other shops they did not charge me and were at least helpful into telling me what direction to take this place explained nothing ? 30 bucks to look at something and say I can't do nothing is not worth 30 dollers ,I know times are hard but this is in un except-able. read more

Spend your money at another shop. I have purchased several bikes from this store and they are not interested in service or helping you with parts. These bikes these days are expensive and require communication between you and manufacturers. You will be on your own if you purchase your bike from here. Some of there staff have poor knowledge or they are just try to get rid of you if you are not spending money. At least that's my impression. For example, my BB30 bearing were creaking and jamming up after a month of owning my new ride. When I asked them if I should replace them or get them looked at they just told me they all creak and just live with it. So I took it to another shop and turns out the bearings were pressed in crooked and that is why they failed so prematurely. The tolerance between the frame and bearing is high on some manufacturers so you want to make sure they are in the frame straight. A good shop would of offered to inspected them. They also quoted me 180 dollars to rebuild my X fusion HiLo suspension seatpost, which seemed a little high. I contacted X fusion directly and they quoted me 95 dollars seals and labour included, three days turn around time. I spent the day shopping around town searching for new rubber, every shop was either booked until late next week, didn't have any rubber or tried to up sell me something I didn't need. Kelowna Cycle had everything I was looking for, changed my tires and tube for an affordable price. And...I'm pretty sure they fixed my back brakes without me even asking....Good work, next time I'll be sure to stop at Kelowna Cycle first. read more

I went to pick up the bike I had ordered and they couldn't find it anywhere. Had to look for something similar (didn't get my sea foam green which was the reason I wanted the bike) just to find out they wanted to charge me more for the consolation prize bike. One staff member (amber) tried to help and I think she would've had she not been interrupted by one rude, incompetent employee who had the nerve to try to charge me the difference for a bike I didn't love but would accept.....over $200 no less! I could see if it were double or something but give me a break! I would've left one star for this place but between Amber and two of their better 'Daves', we rectified the situation as human error can happen. I'm leaving 5 starts as its not fair to bring a percentage down because of the lack of skills in one person. I commend 4/5 employees for having some knowledge of proper customer service, hopefully the other took a lesson from his younger counterparts. Thanks again to the last two Daves and Amber! read more

Best bike store that I have ever been and It's not just because the product selection. Mike and all the staff in the store are very helpful, patient and knowledgable. I will for sure drive again from Vancouver to Kelowna to purchase my next bike or a bike for my kids! Had a terrible experience at the Sutherland location. Brought in my bike for tire puncture and tune up. Asked them to pay particular attention to brakes and shifting. They forgot the tune up altogether. Brought it back for the tuneup. Tested it right after we picked it up: Shifting was dramatically worse than when I brought it in and the brakes were loose and rear disc brake didn't engage fully. Ryan claimed that I was not telling the truth about my observations. Stupid to imply your customer is lying. Refunded labour charges but I won't return. We had also bought a kids bike from them and had them install a kickstand. They used a cheap adult stand and didn't adjust the length so had to bring it back. I'm an easy sell on upgrades and paying for quality work but they were careless and defensive. Update: Took the bike elsewhere and they were able to show me how the shifting was difficult to correct on my bike. Not impossible, but apparently not straightforward if the tune up is done hastily. read more

I brought my bike in (Sutherland location) for a new tube, I had 8 dollars in change on me, so I had enough for the tube, paid for the tube and left and would come back the next day and pay the 10 dollars for the tube install and brake cable replacement,and was told it would be done that afternoon, I came in every few days to see if it was done and it was not done till 2 weeks later, and the guy there had the balls to try and charge me AGAIN for the tube and repair I gave him 15 so basically I ended up paying for the tube twice, I rode the bike home and on the way home the brake cable snapped ... they where never changed, I almost collided with a mother and stroller with a toddler in it and instead hit a pole instead cause I COULD NOT STOP read more

Bought a Cannondale Caadx here last fall, rear hub was making weird noises after a few months, took it back to the shop to get the bike warrantied. They had to send my old hub back to the mfg in order to see if I qualify for a replacement under the warranty. Since I didn't have use of my bike during this whole process, they lent me a wheel in the mean time so that i could keep on riding! That's pretty awesome service! read more
