Monday was horror night. Naturally they had IT playing on the screen. Dear Lord, save me. Wait...nevermind, their $5 pints helped me conquer my clown phobia. They have a few unique choices of beer on tap, including my fave, Anderson Cream Ale. Their menu consists of lots of well priced small plates. I love this. No big dinners with massive prices. Just snacks that feel good. I had the La Bamba nachos and my bf had the pulled pork Bao. Everyone enjoyed their food, it hit the spot perfectly. I don't know if the DJ was the same but the music was awesome both of the times, keep the good work!!! The staff is friendly; the bartender told me Rye and ginger is the most drank combination, so when in Canada do as they, just watch out, tastes smoothly but hits you hard, well maybe after the 4th. This second time a guy had the amazing touch of sending me a drink (thank you!!). This time I arrived too early, people started showing up around 11:30. A bizarre anecdote: a lady approached me, booty bumped me, asked where I was from and left. A cool thing: while dancing a luchador appeared with lights in the shoes. Hostess kept saying I count have possibly made a res that far in advance. Kept insisting I called the wrong place. After lengthy discussion where she insisted I was in the wrong and she was correct, she told us that there were 2 tables available and she could seat us........why not lead with that?? Suggestion: "oh, I don't see a reservation in that name. Perhaps there was some sort of miscommunication. Luckily there are 2 different table options. Give me a couple minutes to get one cleaned and set and we'll get you seated asap". Next, the bartender came to deliver our wine and said "which of you ladies messed up and called the wrong restaurant?" ???? Again much better communication would have included "oh, Im so glad we could get you seated tonight" What an interesting way to greet customers..... Anyway, the food was good and our server was very pleasant so Im giving them a 3.

Storm Stayed has a large seating area with mostly communal tables but some at the bar. I'd call it "Scandinavian" style with light wood colors and not a lot of decoration. Over in the kitchen, a few options that pair well with the beers such as hot dogs and pretzels. Outside seating is also available but too hot today for that! The beer list is constantly changing as they make new ones. Many/most of their beers are available to go. A great option for chilling and I'm glad I landed here for a while! I'm SO happy to have a craft brewery in my neighborhood. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! Just a short walk from my house, I can now enjoy a craft beer in a unique environment. Storm Stayed has lots of their own beers plus lots of guest brews to choose from. I had two types, their Daybreak (blonde ale), and their Bad Math. Both were very refreshing and SO delicious. Having been to a few small craft brewers here in town, I'd say that Storm Stayed had the best taste hands down! In addition to great beer, they have lots of seating and lots of games you can pick up and play. I love that they push a 'sit anywhere' policy. I'm sure on busy evenings, this would be a great way to meet people! Storm Stayed gets a half a mark off for overall atmosphere. If you are looking for something cozy and intimate, this may not work for you. With its tall, bare, white walls, large spaces between tables, and echo-y acoustics, it can feel kind of cold and cavernous. The top 40 music being played from the tiny speaker in the corner didn't really fit in either. These things, however, will not keep me away. I'm excited to stop in for more brews that Storm Stayed cooks up! They are always adding unique flavors and guest taps.They also host small events like bike workshops. I need to come back to try their small selection of locally made food. The pretzels sounded amazing.

My boyfriend got the 'Where There's Smoke, There's Fire' which came in a smoke filled bell jar. I've seen this done before so I wasn't blown away by any means, but it is pretty cool, specially if you're doin it for the 'gram. I got the Reign in Blood which was SUPER cool and creative. This blood-red drink arrived in this beautiful chalice-like glass and the salt rim down the side looked like fangs. I felt like a true vampire and I drank that sh** up. Our drinks were great! So what gives? It all came down to service. I'm not sure if our waiter was having a rough go of it or what, but he was Kurt. No...sorry, his name wasn't Kurt...he WAS curt. We tried to joke with him but nothing was landing. He was swift to pull the menu from my hands as we finished ordering. Something about the whole experience was just...off. What could have been a great night out was sadly tainted. Regardless of this experience, I really do encourage you to make a visit to Company Bar. I have been enjoying Mustang Sallys for so many years now more than 10 and I've never had anything other than an exceptional experience. The food is just so delicious especially their burgers and fries. I've never had a reason to complain about anything I'm 81 and I need to use a walker ... the staff could not be nicer or kinder.
