During the past five years, I've noticed a clear shift in how the firm operates--communication has declined, staff turnover has increased, and overall service quality has dropped. After paying nearly $1,800 upfront for my 2025 business and personal tax returns, I experienced over a month of delays with little to no clear communication. Despite multiple follow-ups, I was repeatedly asked for information I had already provided, which showed a lack of internal coordination. On top of that, I was asked to sign an engagement letter late in the process, which was not properly delivered or explained. As a client of nearly 10 years, it made no sense to receive a generic engagement letter outlining services I've long been familiar with. There also appears to be a high turnover of staff. I was reassigned multiple times, and each new person seemed unfamiliar with my account, leading to redundant questions and confusion about my LLC structure. It felt like I had to restart the process repeatedly. It's also extremely difficult to get George Dimov on the phone, and emails often go unanswered. At this point, he comes across as an absentee owner, with much of the work seemingly outsourced to staff abroad who are not aligned or familiar with long-term clients. For a firm handling time-sensitive financial matters, that level of disconnect is frustrating. Even more concerning, there was a separate incident involving a former employee, Bob Liu, who went rogue and took client information, including mine. He processed one of my tax returns independently, and to this day I have never received a copy of that return. I had to notify George myself, as he was not aware of the situation. This directly impacted me by delaying a construction loan process I was pursuing with a bank. Most recently, after having over three months to prepare my returns, the firm still filed my tax return incorrectly. That was the final straw for me, and I ultimately decided to terminate my relationship with them. I also ended my payroll services with them. Despite paying $100 per month automatically for 38 months, they claimed I owed an "outstanding balance of $5,700 for 38 months of services." This was completely false, as I have proof of every payment. This situation highlights the disorganization of the firm and the constant turnover of staff who clearly are not aligned or aware of long-term client accounts. Overall, I can no longer recommend this firm, especially for clients with multiple entities or complex tax situations. P.S. The reviews here feel misleading. I've noticed that the owner is quick to respond publicly to reviews, yet does not follow up with his actual clients. If you're considering working with this firm, feel free to reach out--I'd be happy to discuss my experience further and share supporting documentation. As a result of the delays and mishandling of my account, I was also charged a late-filing penalty by the IRS.

When it's time for me to send them my information, copies of forms, etc., they first email me a document that contains about 20 or so items/questions that I need to respond to....things like my full name/address/SS....then info on charitable contributions...stock trades/dividends, etc. The usual. It's very easy to follow along and just answer the questions, save the document and then email it back to them. Uploading copies of 1099 forms, W-2's etc to their website platform is also very easy. In mid-Feb (when it's not quite as busy as say later in March, or early May), they turned around my income tax return in under 2 weeks...and I think closer to 1 week. I definitely recommend them!

Update: * On April 1, 2025 I entered into a verbal agreement with Edward Torres, CPA PC Tax & Accounting Services for the "xxxxxxxxxxxx" trust taxes to be prepared and filed to the IRS before the 2024 tax due date deadline. * A tax extension was filed by this CPA to the IRS, but the CPA failed to file the taxes by the extension filing date deadline. * At the initial meeting with him I left the previous year tax returns and any other data that I thought would be helpful in completing the preparation/filing of the trust taxes. * At that meeting Mr. Torres requested two additional items/documents, which the trustee (me), later that day I complied and emailed the CPA the two (2) attached documents, that he had requested. * I have the copies of emails that reflects the requested documents were sent to the CPA, and I also have an email acknowledgment/reply from Mr. Torres. * What I believe happened is a matter of plain old incompetency. * Mr. Torres for whatever the reason erred/failed to file taxes on behalf of the trust by the tax deadline. * When I confronted him he chose to tell a bogus story that he needed more information about the beneficiaries of the trust in order to complete the tax filing task. * He blamed me, saying that the taxes were not prepared and filed by him because I neglected to contact him and supply him the documentation that he requested/needed to complete the taxes. * If that were true, why did he not contact me concerning his documentation needs before the tax filing deadline? * Something I would expect any professional to do. * There is no record of any communication between Mr. Torres and me until after the filing deadline had passed. * You would expect that a professional CPA that was charging a total fee of $2500.00 to complete the taxes, would contact the client, reminding/requesting from the client any missing docs. * That did not happen. * As trustee I am also the sole beneficiary of the above trust and he had all my trustee, and beneficiary information including my tax ID number and the original trust documentation to work with/from. * There are no other listed beneficiaries besides me that have any standing. * He also had a copy of the managed fund yearly statements for the tax year of 2024 where every penny of the trust money is invested. * I also provided him with a copy of the previous years tax return that he could use as a template and simply update the data for the 2024 tax year. * All the necessary info was in the previous years tax filing document forms. * Besides capital gains, no money was withdrawn from the trust fund during the year of 2024. * Unfortunately, my dealings with Mr. Torres was like talking to a brick wall, and is one of the most exasperating, frustrating, people I have encountered. * The question is, why did he not contact me to remedy his so called missing docs. * The reason, he just screwed up, forgot about me, and failed to prepare the trust taxes! * That's the reason he didn't contact me. * Mr. Torres attempted to twist my account version, to justify and hide his failure. * If we are to believe his version of this story to be true, (again) "why did he not contact me for the additional documents that he needed?" * At this latest meeting he did offer to complete my taxes but I would still have to pay him $2000.00 for the task which I no longer felt was viable. * Furthermore, I would still be responsible for any tax late fees incurred. * You know the expression "fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me". * I asked for the $500.00 fee back but he refused to give it to me.
