Dr. Evans was very professional, honest and great with my kids. He understood that my kids needed to have a positive experience and he was so sweet with them. Skye did such a good job accommodating us and was able to get my little one to get her first x rays and my other's first teeth cleaning and walked them through it so beautifully! This is after requesting a refund on Feb 2, 2024 for an overpayment made on my initial diagnosis. It is now April 22, 2024 and on Feb 2, 2024 I was told Platinum Dental could not credit my credit card the overpayment because they only issued checks in 4-6 weeks. Sadly they lost a first time customer for being deceptive.

They have given me excuse after excuse on why I did not get a full refund for a procedure I had to pre-pay as they were unsure what the secondary insurance would be paying. Part of the issue was they kept submitting the wrong group number but once that was corrected Delta Dental paid $972.80 to Platinum Dental giving me a refund of $736.20. When that money was received, they said they needed to audit my account and came back to say Delta Dental overpaid so they would only refund $471.60. We worked with Delta Dental who said they did not overpay, and those funds should be refunded. I've asked for a re-review many times and have been ignored. I would be cautious to pre-pay anything with them and hope this review brings awareness to the integrity of how they run their business.
