I came by once and they were closed but saw that they have a sign that stated "no walk ins, appointments only". Since then I have called several times to try to get an appointment but could never get them on the phone or get a call back. I decided one day just to stop in again on my lunch break to see if they were opened. Luckily they were there and I was able to get an appointment the following week. They send out a reminder text the day before. Day of my appointment, I checked in and his assistant washed my hair and Ken got right to my cut. He listened to what I wanted and gave me a great cut and blow out. I was in and out very quickly. I have very thin hair and not a lot of it and he did a really good job. He definitely is knowledgeable on thin, straight, Asian hair. I would definitely go back and recommend it to others. read more

We have been having Ken cut our hair for many years, even after we moved 1 hour alway. He does very good job and the price is reasonable.

Ken is very moody. He can give you a very bad hair cut if he is not happy. He will charge you again if he gave you a bad hair cut and you ask him to fix it. His skill is ok. He will humiliate you if he is in bad mood. He doesn't talk very nice. He demands you pay him more tips eventhough you already gave him more than reasonable. read more

Since my first hair cut with Ken two years ago, I have been a loyal customer. I usually give a new hairstylist three chances to get to know my hair before I decide if I should stick with the person. And I do not like to switch stylist unless the person is not consistent with his or her work, developed an attitude or just do not get my hair type after three trials. With Ken, one visit and I know he is a professional. I had a mid length bob when I first met Ken then I decided to change my hair style to short. Ken manages both styles beautifully. Ken has great time management. I never have to wait for more than 5 minutes from my scheduled appointment. He does not rush from one client to another. He takes his time when working on my hair and he is particular that I look my best more than I do, because I will be walking around with his work of art! They don't honor appointments. This happened twice. They didn't even bother to entertain us (there were two people who wanted to get a haircut) since they said they're "fully booked" but the salon was empty and they were eating lunch. I drove all the way to their hair salon after work (had to leave early to work) and when I arrived they were closed all the sudden. Made an appointment with Ken more than 2 weeks in advance. They claim that they called (not true) but obviously they didn't bother to leave a voice mail. When I called to complain Ken handed the phone to his wife and didn't even have the nerve to talk to me.
