Bonnie and Kent taught me some tricks I'd never heard and some corrections that I absolutely needed! They were kind and thorough with their training methods and very cognizant of everyone's skill levels and comfort. I will definitely recommend them to any friends who are looking for an into course.

This is THE place to get your firearms training in Colorado Springs, CO. These instructors make…read moresure you are thoroughly trained, confident in your gun handling and safety skills, and that you are safe around others when using your gun. They offer the standard basic handgun and concealed carry but also the more advanced personal defense classes. They also offer laser training to help you develop your gun handling in a safe but quick manner and we are booking with them for personal instruction using this equipment. Their classes are small - not the typical 30-40 in a class where you listen but don't learn. Their prices are really affordable and for the individualized instruction and the large amount of personal attention they give, I consider the tuition to be a terific value! They work well with men, women and children! I saw women whose hands were shaking from fear of handling guns walk out like they were old timers in gun safety! It was an amazing transformation. They were Annie Oakleys at the end of class. We are going again for training on Dec. 8. Don't miss this facility for superb training. I would give them 5+ stars if I could they were that good!

This was the ONLY shop locally that had a specific rifle (X95 - Go big or go home, right?) in store for me to finally hold and look at in person, so I was impressed off the bat. Fell in love almost immediately, and I'm very grateful to Miguel for showing me the gun and walking me through the process of buying my first. Went in today to buy ammunition and a spare mag and Brody was a real one for explaining 556 and 223 rounds to me. Dude was supremely kind in answering my questions. That's a common theme at this store, too. Every interaction I've had with staff has been 10/10. As a new gun owner, I've got a mountain of questions, and so far they've had all the answers I needed. Good people, good prices, kickass guns. They've definitely earned a loyal customer.

Emails often went unanswered, and it was extremely difficult to reach anyone by phone. When you're purchasing a high-end firearm, clear and timely communication should be a priority. I placed a very expensive firearm on layaway, but encountered several issues throughout the process just because I paid with different cards to spread the cost. I am currently still waiting for the refund to be processed. I'm not questioning the products they sell, but the customer service and communication fell well below my expectations for a transaction of this value. I sincerely hope they improve their responsiveness and make the process easier for future customers.

They invoiced a half hour of work with the caveat it may take an hour. I was slightly put off by this thinking it couldn't take more than a few minutes. But ultimately I was prepared to pay with the idea that a gunsmith could complete the task without damaging or marring my optic. I dropped it off on a Friday and they said they'd have it ready by Saturday or Tuesday of the following week. Saturday came and went, Tuesday came and went and ultimately I called them on Wednesday. I was told they didn't have the tooling to complete the job and they would need to order the tools to complete it. Later that Wednesday, I received a call from their gunsmith Nick who said he was going to have a buddy help him out so he could have it to me sooner rather than later to which I expressed my gratitude. I showed up to pick it up the following Thursday afternoon. I opened the case and my optic was covered in tape and the guy at the front desk said they'd be charging me for 2 half hour increments of work at $35 per increment. He said that it totaled $90 so I asked if the 2 increments at $35 equaled $70. He said, "yeah $70." I unwrapped the optic and it was operational but marred up more than I would have expected. The guy at the front said he had to take a dremel tool to it. It was obvious the tool had slipped a few times gashing the body of the optic. This kind of work is what I would expect if I had undertaken the job myself but not what I expected from a professional hence the reason I opted to pay someone else for the service. After that I said one thing to the guy at the front desk as respectfully as I could. "Is the price negotiable considering the damage?" The guy immediately threw the invoice on the table, said "just take it" with anger, and walked into the back. I closed everything up and left. When I got home I told my wife and even expressed if they had called me and said, " hey man this thing was a disaster and we put some gashes in the body of the optic but its operational and we got the screw out so even though we were gonna charge you for an hour worth of work we'll charge you for a half hour or give you a discount." I would've been totally understanding. However this was not the case... I can't speak for their other work or services but that was my first and last experience with this business. Hope this can be useful to anyone else.

I first purchased my family's membership in mid 2024 after purchasing a Beretta A300 Ultima Patrol…read more I have a family membership at nearby indoor range but wanted to enjoy their amazing property. It's true, the site is very beautiful and well maintained. However, each visit since my first has become increasingly problematic. Attendants at the range seemed perplexed by my desire to shoot my stock-configuration semi-automatic shotgun at the same range where other paying members were shooting their semi-automatic handguns and semi-automatic rifles. At first, they'd recommend I shot at the patterning board, but then they'd remark that they already had a large number of members at the patterning board... and then they simply stood there wringing their hands as if they had run out of excuses to deny me access to the range and hoped I would simply leave despite paying hundreds of dollars for my membership. During my last visit in the fall, attendants complained that buckshot rounds would be more destructive to their wooden A-frame targets than the wide variety of handgun and rifle ammunition used by other members. When I produced the 2 3/4in Winchester AA Lite Handicap target shells I planned to use, the range attendant looked me in the eye and asked me what kind of pellets were inside as if these shells sold at every Bass Pro Shop and Sportsman's Warehouse across the nation were somehow exotic or different than the shells used by the breech-action shotgun shooters firing at clay and skeet. The experience was so ridiculous that my father will no longer shoot at Pikes Peak, which means no other member of my family will, either. Now that December is upon us, I will not renew our membership. I'll probably explore my options at Fort Carson. I hope this review will prepare other front range shooting enthusiasts who may also be looking for an outdoor range for their shooting experiences.
