No muzzle awareness by the instructor, ie: flagging students with loaded handgun, advocating techniques that go against all standard best practices, etc. Additionally, instructor spent more time talking about his background and showing students photos, than actually teaching. I undoubtedly question the instructors background and legitimate experience.

I am a new member of Magnum and she went above and beyond out of her way to make sure I knew everything I needed to know about not just my membership but all of the offerings at Magnum. She even taught me how to use my new speed loader. I cannot even begin to express what an asset she is to the company. The range is also very nice and safety is top priority. Every member of the staff has been welcoming and ever so kind to show me around and make sure I feel welcome and valued. This…read moreself defense company cant even defend its self from little ol me and has to over react, calls the cops, and fail to practice good self defense tacits such as de escalation. how can you train what you dont practice? Magnum just goes full bore call the cops and try and use false aligation to silence the opposition. This over reaction shows they dont practice good defensive behavior of understand the situation, de escalate the situation, and walk away with out incident. With the magnum mentality of over react and jump to conclusion your bound to shoot first and possibly maie a huge mistake. For instance magnum jumping to conclusion and going over board calling the cops shows they are acting out of fear not training. Which shows the low level of training even magnum employees recive. Puppets dance for your master Where to start, the banning of out side instructors in favor of lesser magnum employees. when I asked Ashlee " so I have to find a new range no?" Ashlee says " no you keep paying us". The over priced ammo, the un sage range conditions, the girl flirting with me in an attempt to not lose business. We can flirt, and be friends but absolutely no phone number. Now this female is assuming she is loved much like when I found out ashlee was memorizing my phone number. I told her might as well call me. Turned into a huge mistake ashlee thought I was attracted to her. This is probably why she is banning me really she is sad I was never interested. The gun smiths are lacking big time they cant even fix an ak. The classes are a joke and after taking 3 classes from magnum, I became an independent instructor. If you train with magnum good luck, I've heard rso talk about how they need a red dot to hit 25 yds. There are plenty of other ranges, dcf, dragon mans, republics range. Oh yeah I was member for over 10 years but because I am also an instructor which I have been since 2021 im banned and evil
