I actually have a long history with Saint Luke's. The congregation and church that I grew up with and still send my kids to is a sister site to Saint luke. My family for years rented out the gym and kitchen for thanksgivings, I had relatives that attended the actual school here when it existed, my nephew play baseball here at the ballpark, one of my daughters baptism was held here, etc etc. The church itself is smaller and is wider then it is deep. The Church pews line up left to right further then they go front to back. Outside the church entrance is a common area with a massive baptism fountain some bathrooms and a instructional classroom area (this is where my family ate thanksgiving meals). They have double doors leading to a full basketball gymnasium and kitchen and concession area. The outside of the perimeter has a couple baseball fields behind the church buses for aau baseball team these days considering they no longer have a school. Saint luke is a small community church that shares congregation and priests with it sister site Saint rita a few miles down the road. Overall, it's a nice church with good people. Pretty good and well kept facility and I've had made many great and lasting memories and times here.

It is a lovely, peaceful space with beautuful marble, statues and stained glass. The pews are not very comfortable and it was a bit chilly in the church but the choir preformed an excellent, powerful, dramatic program with numerous non traditional Christmas songs. The 15 to 20 piece orchestra was also exceptional and truely added to the performance. The Louisville Choir, a true Louisville gem.
