A new principal and several new teachers have joined the school this year. Lots of up campus field trips are planned. An all-school musical/play is done at the end of each school year. Kids can start extra-curricular activities at 4th grade. Piano lessons are offered starting at age 4. Affordable before and after daycare is available before 8am and after 3pm. Both pastors seem courteous and respectful although we don't know them that well. The new school building is truly a warm and wonderful place with top notch classrooms, a beautiful gym and lunch area. A digital white board in the kindergarten room shows a move toward technology-assisted learning. Holy Cross PTO is working provide additional technology in all classrooms for the future. We are happy to be part of this church school this fall. Having worked and been active in a number of churches I can assure all that no church is perfect.

Holy Cross Lutheran Church has been deeply rooted in the Madison community for over 90 years. They offer early childhood as well as grade school education through 8th grade. Our daughter and countless other students received an excellent start, ensuring a smooth transition to high school and then on to college.
