I ultimately had the toilet valve replaced because I need the water turned off to get the toilet out. The shutoff valve was $6 part and the entire job was done in under THREE MINUTES. $261 dollars. I needed a plumbing job and ultimately decided to do it myself because this company was WAY too outrageous with prices. A $6 parts and 1/4 of an hour. Like that's over $1,000 dollars an hour for labor. PLEASE FIND SOMEONE ELSE, DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY! I was able to complete this entire job for under $60 and have a very bad taste in my mouth from this company!

Was told absolutely. It's 1:05pm and still no tech. Called and now being told it's been rescheduled for two days out. No phone, no text. Just 5 hours of wasted time. The initial two technicians who came were very nice, very honest and gave us a fair price for the repair. All that remained was for a person to come and complete the tile work. We were promised and set up an appointment days in advance to have the technician come at 8 AM. I received a call about 10 AM saying they had had a problem with the truck and had to take it back for repair. Understandable. However, at 1 PM still no one had come and no one had called. When my wife called to check, someone said that they had come to the gate of our gated community and did not receive any notice so they went away. They did not try to call me, the gate automatically caused my phone. Being in the hospital, I had nothing to do but answer a phone.. They did not try to call my wife. I am in the hospital having to deal with this stress. I had canceled my subscription with Lee Company once before, due to a concern over high pricing of parts that could be found at 1/3 the price.. This company, and these technicians knew of the predicament my wife and I were in. They did little to make things right. Consequently, the technician is now supposed to come the next day. Never mind that my wife had rearranged her life so that she could come tend to me at the hospital but other things as well so that she could be present when they arrived. This is typical of a fly-by-night company not someone with the reputation that Lee Company supposedly enjoys. Even if you reconfirm appointments, sometimes they don't come and they don't call.

He was very neat and professional in the removal and installation of the plumbing fixtures. I like Hymer's personal and professional approach to service. Also, they were able to do my work in a timely way, the next day after I called. This was the second service to our home. The first occasion involved replacing a leaking flex hose under the house during the winter storm. Again, they were able to come the next day and provided excellent service. I will call Hymer first for all my plumbing needs: trustworthy and thorough, honest and authentic service personnel. I can relax when they are in my home.

My wife called Mr. Rooter on Friday afternoon telling them that our kitchen sink was clogged and…read morebacked up. An appointment was set for Saturday around noon. When the Mr. Rooter technician arrived, he assessed the situation. I told him that I had run a 35 foot snake down through the drain, but without reaching the clog. The technician said that he has a machine with a 35 foot snake but that the machine was battery operated and not that strong. He could put a 50 foot snake on the machine, but that it probably will not do the job. He said that his machine is good for bathrooms and other drains, but does not work well on kitchen drains. The technician said that the price for him to try his snake would be $390 whether it worked or not. If it did not work, then they would use a jet cleaner that would cost $2400 and the the $390 would NOT count towards the $2400. The technician then said that we must pay him $100 for the trip though he does not have the adequate equipment to properly work on a clogged kitchen sink. He went on to say that he has to give lots of people this bad news. I paid the $100 and sent him away. I then went to a local establishment and purchased a professional-sized Rigid drain machine with a 75 snake. Though I laid on the floor for an hour or so, this machine went through the clog and all was well after one trip of the snake down the drain. The new machine cost me $435. And I have it for the next clog. My thoughts are what drain-opening service company sends their technicians out with sub-par equipment that routinely does not work on kitchen drains? At least the technician was honest and told me that his machine probably would not work. Good for him in doing that. One star for an honest employee. Zero stars for the company.
