In late 2014, I purchased a Haier refrigerator that needed repaired within the warranty period. Haier put me in contact with Radio TV Center. Radio TV Center does not have sufficient staff to service the volume of work they have. At least that was the excuse that was given to us as we were trying to keep updated on the repair work being done on our refrigerator. As a result, the service received was "substandard" at best. My 3 1/2 week ordeal with Radio TV Center began on a Friday afternoon when I call and left a message that I had a refrigerator that needed repaired. When no one returned my call, I called on Saturday and set up an appointment for the following Tuesday. The technician stated that the unit was low on Freon and it would need to be repaired in the shop. He stated he would pick it up the following morning. It was not picked up until nearly 4pm and no call was made to inform us of the delay. The refrigerator was placed in the back of an open truck with the door lying loose to bounce around during the trip from Albany to Dawson. After two weeks, I called and was informed that the unit was fixed and I would receive it the following day. The next day came and went and I did not receive my refrigerator or a call informing me that it would not be delivered. After several calls between me and Haier America, the unit was finally returned 19 days after it was picked up and 5 days after confirmation that it had been fixed. It was returned with several scratches and a two inch dent in the front door. Radio TV Center offered no resolution to the issue of banging up the door and stated that "it still works with a dent". This company has no regard for customer service or the decency to respect the property of others in which they have been entrusted. From the time Radio TV Center was initially contacted, I placed five calls to them leaving two voice messages, neither were returned. Haier America called four times that I am aware of and also had to leave voice messages as no one would answer the phone. This is not a company I would recommend, and I would not use them again.
