When it came time to pay we ended up paying $400.00 for my adult daughter and me when I thought it would only $200.00 as discussed over the phone. They were unwilling to negotiate and would not provide direction on the numerous forms we felt out unless we came back. Ugh...I am just so sad people cannot be more forthcoming. The secretary (his wife I believe) heard my excitement and comment over the low price she should have in all honesty said something or at least been willing to negotiate in a reduction of the price. I usually get a lot of stretches and cracks when I come in. When I first started here, I could barely walk without pain due to my hip being out of alignment. He also works with the UMKC and JCCC athletic department so he's experienced with fixing athletes and getting them back to feeling better. After the counseling session was over, I literally remember thinking that I wanted to die. She not only maximized my fear but almost made me think there was something terribly wrong with my relationship. I was so vulnerable at the time that I was eating up anything anyone would tell me. Even though he does not do chronic pain patients he always ask about those medical issues as well as what he was treating me for. Never once did he make me feel like I didn't need or shouldn't take a medication that I knew worked for me. If I ask for additional test he evaluated me and trusted my judgement on how I felt with symptoms I had. Dr Ehly is truly one of a kind in a good way.
