Kenny was the buyers agent for my 84 year old mom in a recent transaction. He demonstrated a complete lack of knowledge about the way to complete the sale, completed the agreement of purchase and sale on the wrong form (twice), insisted that my mom could not back out of the deal without being in breach of contract, only to admit two days later that the contract was null and void and had to be re-done. He refused to take accountability or responsibility for his mistakes, blaming everything on "the lawyers" and claiming it was up to them to deal with the fallout. He was condescending, belligerent and rude during phone, email and in-person interactions. He put my mother through a month of uncertainty, stress and anxiety, not knowing whether the deal was actually going to proceed or not. When the deal finally closed and he was asked whether he would offer up a portion of his commission to help cover the thousands of dollars in lawyers fees incurred dealing with his errors, he started yelling, accused us of being "greedy", shouted that he never wanted to hear from us again and hung up the phone. I've been involved in several real estate transactions recently for myself and my family and this has been a complete departure from what I'm accustomed to with real estate agents. I'm utterly shocked and disgusted by the lack of professionalism, lack of respect and ugly behaviour shown by Kenny throughout this ordeal. read more

I spent a year back in Taiwan as a manager of the developing department at Shin De Development & Construction in Taipei. I returned to Canada in the summer of 2008 and started my new career in Real Estate and joined Re/Max Twin city, Kitchener in 2009. In order to further enhance my knowledge and to serve my clients better, I also got my broker license in 2013. I am very enthusiastic about my career and I look forward to meeting and helping you.

My name is Kenny Chen and I was born in Taipei, Taiwan. I immigrated to Canada in 1993. I am fluent in English, Mandarin, Taiwanese and Cantonese. I used to own and run a billiard hall named, "Pool Paradise Inc." located in Waterloo from 2002 to 2007. During that time, I was successful in obtaining my BCA (Billiards Congress of America) certified instructor certificate, which enabled me to teach billiards. I organized several tournaments and was a tour promoter for Ontario. I was also an authorized dealer for many high end cue companies and a worldwide seller. In 2006, Research in motion as known as Blackberry, bought the plaza my business was located in. When my lease expired in 2007, it was not renewed and I closed my business at that time.
