Decidedly to visit the shop as this brand has a small presence in the West with only an outlet store in Las Vegas. The Charleston store has a boutique feel and is filled with a nice selection of shorts, short sleeve shirts and polos. Many of the clothes have tropical print designs. While the clothes are nice, there were not a lot on sale. There was a small rack of items that were on sale, but it was not very clear as it took up space with items that were regular priced. As a result, I brought up an item to check out initially that was regular price and was lightly scolded by the staff. I did end up buying a pair of shorts here that I liked, but the store experience left a bit of a bad taste. I would consider buying from the brand again, but I will stick to buying online next time. Mostly because there are no locations near where I live on the West Coast.

While visiting my daughter we went to her favorite store Shopsxc yesterday and bought some jeans. We went back to her house and tried them on and the jeans did not fit us right. We were told that they only do store credit, which was ok because my daughter is local so she could use the store credit later. However, when we were in the store around mid day yesterday, the short man (who I presume is the owner) was yelling and berating the girls that work for him. He lost control and would not let the girls speak back to him. If the girls did try, he interrupted them before they could finish their sentence. He made the entire experience uncomfortable and we felt so sorry for the girls that work there. Afterwards, we went to dinner and we talked about the entire experience. Someone overheard us talking and said that he acts like that all the time. As a mother, I would NEVER want my daughter spoken to in the way he was speaking to his employees. NEVER shop here!!

Quiksilver on King Street is a great place to go for clothing and accessories for all things…read moresurfing and skating. I like the selection and variety that they have available and always seem to find a couple of cool items each time I am here. This is a fun place to shop and the staff here is very friendly and helpful.
