One company - a professional errand running service with branches all over the United States - offered to deliver the package for me, but they wanted to charge $50, which was absolutely ridiculous. As I live in Michigan, some 850 miles away, I could not exactly pick the package up and deliver it myself, so when I found Always Faithful Errand Service I had hope, but not a whole lot. Jason called me back almost immediately and he was so friendly (and from Michigan himself!) and his prices were much more reasonable than the other companies, so I hired him on the spot. We hashed out the details over a couple of phone calls, he emailed me an invoice and I sent him a couple of addresses and some extra information and I felt confident that everything would be handled. My package was picked up and delivered to my brother and sister in law on time the next day and I got a confirmation email (which was really nice). I often have packages delivered to my brother for birthdays or holidays, so I will definitely be calling Always Faithful again to pick up and deliver. They made giving my long distance presents super easy!

This time though, the quote from my PM network was outrages for just a simple kitchen faucet replacement! While I'm not a contractor myself, I am handy enough to know it'd only take less than 1 hour to finish and I can purchase an industrial grade faucet online for less than $100 for the part so we looked up handyman on here. Able to get a hold of Seth with Sublime Handy work and the his fee is much more reasonable! Seth has no review and tbh I was skeptical. There is another handyman that has 100% 5 stars rating but they are fully booked until end of July. I'm able to connect with Seth over the phone and he's very responsive with my text (over the July 4th weekend) as well so I took the bet. While I'm not there in person, I can fully rely on him. Seth would update me on timing when he's heading to my unit, send me pictures after he'd done and upload invoice for me via email. Everything is so seamless. He'll be my go to handyman going forward and definitely recommend him to anyone in need for handyman.

Friday AM came and went w/o Alem appearing or calling. I contacted him receiving an inchoherent story about a previous job still in progress but- FOR SURE - he'd be at my house NLT 4PM. Well, that deadline passed forcing a second call. Again, apologies which prompted me to ask if Alem could manage to do the job on Saturday morning. Response: YES. Alem did show up a tad late but at this point I didn't care. He installed the window A/C and briefed me on basic operation noting that extra water drain plugs were provided and how to replace same.
