Brady was amazing and helped tremendously, even suggesting that perhaps we didn't actually need the appraisals. In the end, we didn't, but even so, he was more than willing to talk through it, take a look, share his expertise, and help me figure out the best approach. His willingness to help even though we ultimately didn't need his services showed he's not just in this to make money. He had our best interests in mind, and we're grateful. When we DO need anything like this in the future, we will be more than confident going to him for help.

We made a family decision to call some appraisers to provide clarity on the property. Mr. Dreasher was the only appraiser who answered the phone and was ready to talk about our situation. Upon arrival he greeted and introduced himself with business cards and addressed how we should go about making the process fast and efficient for everyone, knowing that we were still in grieving mode. He identified items we had questions about and then more noteworthy artworks and antiques for which he was able to provide restoration concerns and an estimates of value. In the end we only needed a few items formally appraised with a report, but having a knowledgeable person who gave us confidence in the appraisal process was just what our family needed at the time. Big Thanks!

We wrote a check for the retainer, but due to check fraud, we had to issue a replacement. Before the replacement was received, the firm called multiple times to make sure they got paid. Once payment was received, however, communication all but stopped. Whenever I called for an update, it seemed like no one knew who I was or what the status of my trust was. I was repeatedly told that someone would call me back, but that rarely happened. After waiting about a week with no response, I had to involve my Federated representative just to get someone to contact me. Even then, I still didn't receive any meaningful answers. I eventually searched through my emails to find the attorney I was supposed to be working with and contacted him directly. Instead of hearing from him, someone else emailed me with a brief update. I completed all of the requested homework over a month ago, yet I continued receiving automated reminders telling me to finish it. This isn't a simple trust--it's intended to protect significant assets, including real estate, vehicles, business interests, and other property. I wanted answers about how everything would be titled and structured, but getting information was nearly impossible. Once again, I had to involve my Federated representative before anyone responded. Tanner called and told me to reach out if I had questions. Shortly afterward, I received a draft of the trust that contained numerous errors and inaccuracies. It honestly felt like it had been rushed together immediately after our phone call. When I tried calling Tanner back using the number he had called me from, I expected it to be a direct line. Instead, I reached a receptionist, who told me someone else would email me to schedule a time for Tanner to call me. Even speaking with the attorney handling my trust required going through multiple layers of communication. As I write this review, I called again this morning and still have not received a return call or email. My biggest concern is trust. If communication is this disorganized during the drafting process, how am I supposed to feel confident that millions of dollars in assets will ultimately be distributed according to my wishes? Estate planning requires attention to detail, organization, and responsiveness. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience. I hope the firm improves its communication and client service, but based on my experience, I cannot recommend Evans & Davis.

My wife and I hired David Dearing to help us with a zoning issue with the City of Indianapolis. In our opinion, David is the worst attorney we have ever encountered. Ever. We use many attorneys, including for our business, and for family law (Wills, etc.), so were extremely familiar with hiring, and working with a lawyer, and we have never been anything but happy with them, and still use them all as needed, but we needed a zoning specialist, so we hired David. I am sorry to say that we were extremely disappointed with him. First of all, he provided us with an estimate, and his charges ended up being MUCH MUCH MUCH higher than the estimated amount! To make matters worse, we were thoroughly unimpressed with his work, and in fact, we feel like we have more problems now than we did when we started! We decided to cut our losses, and we cancelled his services before the hearing even took place. As a result, we understandably felt that his charges should have been less than the estimated amount.Wow, were we wrong! In the end, we hired someone else, and so far, we are very happy with them, and we feel like we are in good hands. Again, this is just my opinion based on my experience working with him. That being said, my wife and I were not at all happy with his services, and we would absolutely not recommend him.
