But if I was a person coming in off the streets and was seeking spiritual guidance what then? The pastor preached a good message about time to take the led off the tippy cup but I was always taught it's starts with leadership first. When I walked up there were friendly greeters out front and tables with literature about the Church. They were very friendly and welcoming with smiles and handshakes. They also recognize new attendees openly welcoming them during the service. I attended a once-a-year class on what UU is about and I highly recommend it. The church in itself has a sustainable focus of solar panels and a community garden. It's beautiful and huge and also, I was told built on native land that is sacred. It's very inclusive and these are the principles that the members seem to work to embody there: 1). Love Inclusively 2). Grow Spiritually 3). Serve Gratefully 4). & Work for Justice There was an entire Sunday service focused on the foundation of love and even the meaning of the Pride flag represented projected on the wall. This is definitely one of the best churches in the Valley…read more Pastor Chris is warm and accepting. His wife is one of the sweetest women on earth. The entire congregation is loving and encouraging. This place is a hospital for sinners not a sanctuary for saints. If you've ever been to a church where you felt judged and condemned then it wasn't this church. The people here recognize that we all have a past where we made mistakes but now we're forgiven by a loving God and Savior that didn't.
