I will say this store is definitely upscale and classy. A really nice selection of fancy accessories. The prices are reasonable though. I liked how they had a winter sidewalk sale selling winter beanie hats with Pom poms outside on tables for people to see as they walk around the shopping area. I do want to mention that Dejavu are donated items that are of a higher quality that are donated to Goodwill so a little disappoint seeing how high the prices are. Most of the fur coats were about $1,000 if not higher. The service was professional and quick- I did not end up getting anything because felt it was highly priced (only thing I liked were a pair of sunglasses that were $200) but as it's in a mountain town I can understand the need for the higher prices. When discussing amongst ourselves whether to get the ring, the sales lady reassured us that if it was on the table and had a labelled price it was 50% off that price. We purchased the ring (with the same sales lady) only to find out that when it was rung up it was still $19.95, we were told that the ring was originally $75 and that's why we couldn't get any further discount despite it being on the half off table. Almost immediately the stone on the ring completely cracked. We went back to the store thinking that they would replace or repair it. We had to visit the store three times before being able to talk to anyone or have any action taken. The first two times the lady working behind the counter told us that she "didn't work there and couldn't help us." Despite the fact that she was working the cash register! Finally the third time the owner, Bashar, was there. He told us immediately that the damage must have been caused by us, the buyer. We were polite and insisted that he try to find a remedy. I had the ring on for little time before it fell apart. We left it in their care and then we spent over 6 months politely following up with him. At one point Bashar offered to make the ring right if we paid him an extra $1,000.00. At that point we asked for him to send it back to us, with insurance. It took another two months of consistent follow up before he finally sent the damaged ring back. In sum, buyer beware. That store and the people that work there are con artists. I'll return to Steamboat, but I'll never again set foot in that store or subject any guest to their fraud.

Moose Mountain is located on Lincoln Ave in the midst of several other great shops and restaurants. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about their selections. I purchased a beautiful Aspen worthy winter coat with faux fur details made by CoVelo which is lovely and perfect fitted. I noticed Moose Mountain also carries Desigual and a few other unique designers that I really enjoy. This is really a fabulous boutique for stunning après-ski styles. Highly recommended. :)

I was having trouble finding it, but after explaining what I was looking for, the employee took my right to it! Then after I paid, she wrapped it beautifully and I gave it to my friend as an early Christmas gift so she could use it during the fall weather!
