Unfortunately my two stones came off from my very unique ring. Worse yet I was traveling and did not notice it immediately. Stones lost ! I contacted Poker Creek Gold and the owner Lincon contacted me immediately via phone. Apologized and said on rare occasion these things can happen. It indicated that my 5 year warranty would cover all the work. I sent it directly to the repair shop and received it back in a couple of weeks. Unfortunately they used lower quality stones (even though they had the original pics of the ring ). I contacted Lincon again and agreed with me and contacted the repair shop. He gave me the option of money back or an additional repair or a new ring that was basically identical to my original. I went with the new ring. All this with no cost to me. Lincon always called be right away and explained my options. There was no avoidance of the issue, no attempts to get to take an inferior product. Can't say enough about awesome customer service and value for my dollar. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

The scenery was absolutely beautiful, and being out on the water gave us a completely different view of Ketchikan and the surrounding mountains and coastline. The crew was friendly, welcoming, and very knowledgeable about the area. They made the experience fun and relaxing, and you could tell they genuinely wanted everyone onboard to have a great time. We also really appreciated how they shared information about the local wildlife, history, and community along the way. If you're visiting Ketchikan on an Alaska cruise and looking for something memorable to do, I would definitely recommend taking a boat tour. The host of our trolley bus was good. He described the 3 areas we stopped at - historic fish ladder, herring cove, and another area that was nice with a waterfall but no big deal. We drove by totems and the totem heritage center but didn't stop. Highlight: we saw a bunch of eagles in some trees. While it was cute being in a trolley and the host was personable, the tour itself wasn't great and not really worth $40 per person. Good thing the mild weather was fantastic with sunny skies.

Our small group setting made it easy to ask questions and it didn't feel like we were being herded along. Meta's historical knowledge of Ketchikan and of the culture, history and customs of her people was impressive. After the tour we were dropped off on Creek Street an did a quick walk around Ketchikan Creek, ended up at the Tongass Historical Museum.
