Carlos slept through our initial appointment and when I reached out to find out what was going on Cindy responded. She was extremely apologetic, so I decided to continue. I pointed out the rooms I needed painted and the numerous imperfections in the walls. She assured me they could handle it and get it done quickly. I decided to go with them as the price was fair and they were able to get the project done sooner than other companies. At first glance things look good. But, after the first night I had major concerns. They ruined my brand new refrigerator and gouged a deep scratch (about 7-8 inches long) deep into metal, got paint all over the other side of it, and someone used steel wool to clean my stainless steel sink. Carlos came back and was apologetic again, though implied that I had done the scratches to the sink by saying thy at he hadn't taken pictures of it before. Though was able to get the paint off the refrigerator, but nothing to be done about the gouge in it or the scratches in my sink. The second day he brought his young son (7-8 years old) it was July and a pandemic, so I didn't really mind. But he started going g through my things, keeping me from working. No one corrected him until Cindy came several hours later. When they were done Cindy have a $200 discount for the damage and assured me they would contact me In September to replace my sink. Things on first glance seemed okay, so I agreed. Needless to say I have not been contacted and I still have a scratched sink. They also got paint splatters on a brand new and at the time untreated railing, on my brand new carpet, on my brand new appliances in the kitchen, on my sons' toys that they hadn't even played with yet. They did not sand or spackle any imperfections in the walls (granted I didn't ask them specifically to do this, I assumed they would since they were pointed out). They moved a counter j was having built so a dishwasher could be installed, didn't put the screws back, threw out the shims, and didn't level it so when it came time to install the dishwasher it had to be redone completely. Then today when going to change a bulb in my recessed lighting I found they painted over all of the covers and I can't get them off. I would stay far far away from them. *** Edit*** Photos of added. I did contact them right after I moved into my new home and about 10 days prior to my twins 1st birthday. I did ask about timing and since they advised would be able to get it done prior to the party - it's why I chose them over others. I contacted Cindy minutes after Carlos left the first day. I included the text conversation in the photos. I was advised by Cindy they would contact me in September when their busy season slowed down. Had they I might have a different rating.

I sent a request a quote message and ended up chatting with John, the owner, the same day. He stopped by to see my project, sent me a quote, and within days he and his crew were at my house! We needed our front railing, front door, and roof deck railings to be sanded down and re-painted. Our house is only four years old but, as we've discovered, new construction doesn't always equal the best quality. John and his crew showed up bright and early around 8:30am, and worked tirelessly in the sun until the project was finished around 4pm. John explained the differences in the types of paint he needed to use for the railings and door. Everyone in the crew was friendly and careful about their work space - by the time they left, you wouldn't have known they were even here, aside from their gorgeous handiwork! My husband and I think the railings and door look even better now than they did when we bought our house. My only regret? Not taking before and after photos! It's clear that 2 coats of paint were not applied to either the doors or the walls. I contacted Mike, today, 7/24/26, he was not only unprofessional, but extremely argumentative. SIDE NOTE: Please also note the painter gave off extreme racist energy. I was so uncomfortable, I walked to my neighbors house and asked her to come back home with me; she also was disturb with the painter's energy. As I do NOT feel at all comfortable with Mike or anyone from his team to come back to my home, again, I am forced to move forward with hiring a NEW painting contractor to correct the $1200.00 MHC paint job then take action against MHC Painting in small claims court for the reimbursement cost to have the job redone correctly. Been in the trades 28 years and was in the middle of renovating my personal home. Went over everything with him and my concerns with my new floors going in ($7600). He said not to worry, he'll cover the new floors. He was taking the deposit and went downhill immediately. Came home from work early on day 1 primer. All the cabinet doors were off as he stated except the lazy susan door. Painter claimed hinges were broke, it was 2 loose screws that i tighten with a screwdriver. They never took that door off, also didn't remove the faces of my 7 drawers, which is a whopping total of 14 screws. So the lazy Susan door and drawers were painted in place lol. The guy had a few drop clothes scattered not covering the floors, that have been in less than a week! Drop clothes are for carpet, paper layment for hard surfaces. I offered to cover the floors, which costs $13, but he said not to worry. While rolling the primer on, little white splatter dots on my new dark wood flooring awesome . The guy there insisted he can't see it, but I can easily see it. He cleaned, left and I continued to find more paint on my floors. The guy came back, clearly annoyed and even said I was "busting his balls." Joking or not, you don't say to customers/homeowners lol. My wife came home, went into the garage and saw boogered paint, puddled and drips on the first coat of primer on the doors, same with the drawers and lazy door which painted in place. After getting paint on our new floors, of course we're going to inspect even more. Sent Mike pictures, immediately called me up and was extremely rude, nasty and unprofessional. Talked to my wife like a 5 year old. He said they'll sand everything, and those paint defects will be removed. Day 2 a new guy showed up with the same guy from day 1. He was professional and attentive. I asked the original guy if I should remove my microwave, which is only 2 screws so he had easier access to paint the side of the cabinet above the range. Told again not to worry about it, they'll handle it. That evening, we decided to remove it because 3 inches under the microwave was exposed, and needed to be primed and painted. Keep in mind, primer has to sit 24 hours, and they already had 2 coats of paint on by the end of day 2. At the end of the day, we still saw paint drips, little puddles of it sitting in odd spots and primer boogers now painted over with 2 coats of finish paint. At this point, we just wanted them to hurry up and get it over with. Day 3 they were done fairly early and it was a one foot out the door situation. I told them we'll make the final payment when my wife gets home from work, as this was her project. Mike once again got nasty, changed his voice to I guess sound like me and be a smart ass. In my 28 years working with homeowners directly, I never talked down, argue and anything with the homeowners. Now inspecting after they left. They forgot to put the little rubber pads behind some of the doors causing them to stick to the fresh paint, ripped the paint completely off the cabinet. He's trying to blame us, but they won't take responsibility. Didn't cover appliances or my new floors! Treated my home like it was an apartment. Paint on my stainless steel range, dishwasher, microwave 2 inches wide across the entire top, and splatter all over my stainless steel refrigerator. There's no excuse . Drips, puddles, chips, paint on my glass cabinet door, paint on a few handles, i guess when the did touch up. Still finding paint primer splatter on my week old floors. This was a joke of an experience. Supposed to be professional! Here's some fabulous pictures.
