There simply aren't enough stars on Yelp for Kevin. Yeah, I know you have all hear that before, but Kevin really is the BEST. Here is our story: My husband and I were in our rental for years and we loved our Sunset house. We were five blocks away from his parents and we wanted to buy the house. We made several overtures but the landlord didn't want to sell. We were getting killed in taxes so we bought a cabin at the Russian River thinking we would continue to rent in the city and own the cabin in the Redwoods. Everything was GREAT! Then the call came that every renter dreads, the landlord wanted to move back into our rental after 12 years. We thought we had two choices, 1) sell the cabin and use the money for the down payment on a house in the city or 2) move to the Russian River and leave our life in SF. We really didn't want to leave SF as we are both natives but we could only come up with 10 percent down with such short notice. We love the cabin and didn't want to sell. We called Kevin in a panic. We were emotional, crazed and generally a mess! Kevin put up with my crying and freak-outs and checked in with me daily. He walked us both through the SF buying market with such patience it was amazing! We only had a short time to find a place and a whole list of what we wanted in a house. We found a house that we thought was "THE ONE" but we were outbid. Not once did Kevin give up on us or our search for the perfect home. I went to an open house and called Kevin from my car and said, "I think I just found our house" Kevin was there within minutes and knew the listing agents (who were also incredible). The sellers accepted an early offer and we moved into our new place May 1st! Yes folks, we were able to buy a house in SF with only a 10 percent down payment thanks to Kevin!
