Low and behold, another $3k later in charges after my final hearing. Now, the guardianship case was successful but $8k later? The lack of communication after hiring a lawyer for that much money was insane. Almost no help or guidance was provided from the office during the process. This is all new to anyone going through this process for the first time and it would be nice for your own lawyer to show you the ropes. Not even close. They're email communication was horrible. They just sent attachments and said read this. No personalized communications that you would expect from the lawyer, that you hired, and paid $5k for. Don't make the same mistake I did. Stay far away!

I participated in a free consultation where I clearly stated that I was considering both a standard…read morefiling and the possibility of pursuing a more complex case. I was later asked to submit a deposit in order to answer additional questions and further evaluate the matter. After doing so, I was informed that the firm would not be willing to file the more complex case. When I asked if they could recommend an attorney better suited to handle a more in-depth matter, if we choose to go that route but at this the attorney declined representation entirely and did not provide a clear explanation for the decision. Although the deposit was refunded, the process resulted in a significant loss of time and caused frustration, particularly given that my interest in exploring a more complex option had been disclosed from the beginning.

I've never used an attorney before and Raina made everything easy, very professional and flexible on meeting after work, etc. She even provided a checklist for other areas to consider outside the legal process. Raina did everything ahead of schedule and I was all set after one short meeting (she provided forms to fill out ahead of our meeting which saved a lot of back and forth). Highly recommend her as someone who is personable, easy to talk with, trustworthy and works efficiently throughout the legal process.

Paid in full, deserved refunded. He also didn't do any unnecessary meetings or anything with me trying to get a bunch of money I don't have. We always meet same day before court or I could call whenever if something changed. Being a single dad he was also very affordable for all the service he provided. I would highly recommend anyone to at least meet with him if not just acquire his services outright.
